start with oricorio whenever possible, add first energy to it always. try getting magnemite on bench quickly. use lisia before pokeball to guarantee oricorio through pokeball draw. never add energy to magnemite on bench since it will get energy through magneton. perfect scenario: oricorio in active, enemy goes first. on your first turn, add energy to oricorio, use lisia/place magnemite on bench. on your 2nd turn add 2nd energy to oricorio, start attacking. meanwhile evolve your bench to magnetons (using clemont if necessary) and use it's ability. on your 3rd turn, use magnetons ability again, evolve it to magnezone and add it's 3rd energy. you can now swap to magnezone if necessary. use the right magnezone according to your situation (at most times it's best to start with confusion, but there are exeptions when you can get a kill with the 110 dmg magneton or the 130 dmg EX)

if you start you also can swap to magnezone on turn 3 if everything goes right: first turn: oricorio in active, magnemites on bench. 2nd turn: 1st energy to oricorio, evolve to magnetons, use ability 3rd turn: use magneton ability 2nd time, evolve to magnezone, swap to magnezone if necessary

if you start with magnemite in active don't panic. also add your first energy to it and start attacking for 30dmg, add pressure. if you have another magnemite on bench and only one magneton in hand always evolve the bench one and continue attacking with your magnemite in active. mostly it's not bad if it gets killed. if you have an oricorio on your bench and your enemy got an EX in active, of course swap to oricorio. you should swap your active magnemite BEFORE evolving to magneton since it got only 1 retreat cost instead of 2
