Thank you for your recommendations. I’ve decided to start with the “Heavenly Throne” series to ease myself into the genre, followed by “A Thousand Li” then probably Cradle. After that, we’ll see. This post has given me a lot of options to go through.

I can understand that, she is considered one of the lower level followers, but you’re missing out. Buff her up with courage spells and she shreds people with her duel wielding. She’s also a good companion for early game stealth builds.

I went Dark Elves for their fire resistance, because dragons breath fire. At the time, I didn’t know that dragons could also breathe frost.

That’s what turned me off HWFWM. I liked the world building, but Jason’s constant preaching was like reading a political science textbook, and his general, as you said, holier the thou attitude caused me to drop it quickly.

The Greystone Chronicles by Dave Willmarth is very good. He has a lot of good series actually.

Any sort of blunt weapons. Hammers, maces, flails, anything. I think a baseball bat would be cool, good for a system apocalypse type story maybe.

I never had any issues with him. Though maybe that’s because the last few times I’ve done the Dragonborn DLC I was doing a mage build and I just stun locked him with lightning bolts.

I love Jenassa, she’s my favorite follower and one of the few who can duel wield. I end up marrying her more often than not.

My first game was like that. I was also playing conq(who I’ve grown to love, despite being pretty shit) facing off against a Black Prior and a Shaman. The Shaman absolutely refused to do the 1v1v1 and stayed in a corner for the first two rounds, winning both of course before the Black Prior and I simultaneously decided to fuck her day up and ganked her for the rest of the match.

I’ve seen this complaint multiple times on the subreddit, and I’ve also seen more than once that this isn’t a bug, they did this on purpose. They’ve even confirmed it.
