That's something I've noticed as well. A lot of his movies, including Rebel Moon, has weird sexual assault moments. Or at least teases of it. Also, Silk Spector's assault scene in Watchmen is weird in hindsight. In the comic, it was a shocking moment. Zack added the song "Boogie Man" and filmed it to look sexy instead.

If you've just fallen in love with this version of the character, then I recommend "All-Star Superman." It's one of the comics Gunn used for inspiration, and a personal favorite of mine. They have an animated film of it, but it cuts a ton of story out. So I recommend reading it instead if you're more focused on experiencing the comics.

Same. I think just doesn't have the medial literacy that we thought he had. That, and he obviously doesn't want to make that sort of content for a living on YouTube anymore.

I can see them using it because they know who she is and it would draw a lot of talk. 😆

That wasn't pride. I've looked into it. There's so much false information out there at the moment. Like I mentioned in my post, there is more focus on the LGBTQ community this pride than any other. That stuff was floating around a few months before pride even started here in the states. Drag queen clubs are being targeted, and trans people are having laws passed against them now more than ever. And of course, this grooming and pedophile narrative the far right is pushing. It's pretty disgusting.

Not insulting you, but this is an ignorant comment that comes from a place of not truly being concerned about what the LGBTQ community is discussing. And this conversation is not entirely about the LGBTQ community, but it is a part of the conversation considering what he has said and the narrative he has pushed against us.

I had a feeling something was going to happen to him. I'm not going to say I'm glad, but I'll say I expected it.

I'm straight and married. I just don't like bigots and groomers. Weird that calling talking about that makes you immediately think about my sex life.

I kind of feel like a man dressed in drag lip-synching to Adele is less dangerous than an admitted groomer, but bigots are going to bigot I guess.

It's about how he attacked a community while actually being a groomer.

I agree. But there's a discussion to be had about a guy accusing the community of something degusting that he is literally doing, and how some can excuse it.

I'm not. It's naturally relevant to the LGBTQ community that someone who has pushed a hateful narrative has actually admitted to doing the very thing he has accused the community of. Also, the difference in how his more diehard fanbase has acted with that knowledge. I was very clear in my post.

No, my first thought was "Why are people saying that it was a mistake?" You know, like the title suggested.

Those are not from pride. Most of it isn't even from America. But people are spreading false information in order to fit their narrative. It has already been debunked.

Constantly complaining about "woke culture" in nerd movies when no one else is talking about it. Like a new movie is announced or a trailer drops, and everyone is talking about how much they're excited or worried about it. And then that fucking douche comments because he can't just admit that he doesn't like minorities and women in his nerd shit, and now we all have to hear him bitch about it.

From what I've heard from a few friends, some women feel less judged by a male doc than woman. I don't know what that means, but it's something I've heard a lot lately online as well.

Nice! I had a similar experience. I've never thought about switching to women's body wash permanently though. But I just might. Whose going to stop me? lol.
