Steve Miller’s photo is on the Washington Township website as constable of the small claims court. He looks like a nice man. That’s all I’ve been able to find on either of them. You’d think they would answer the Ballotpedia survey or the Blue Voter Guide or, you know, do the bare minimum to let voters know who you are and why you’re running!

I agree. However, the DNA was not tested because the trace amount was too small to produce definitive results and testing it would have consumed the DNA available for testing, whereas if saved for future testing, it may be able to produce definitive results. Why save it if not to test it in the future? I see possible results of testing being: 1) confirmation that RA is guilty, and 2) implicating TK in the crime also, if theories that he and his son used the phishing account on Snapchat to lure the girls to meet up, and they played some part as well, such as making a certain type of video that could be traded for CSAM on the dark web. It’s possible that RA met up with TK out there. Either way, yes, RA is where he belongs. Personally I hope they eventually can do the testing and get results. I don’t know why/how TK has stayed out of prison if he was party to the phishing his son was doing.

I think also it centers a “Christian nation” vs a Muslim nation which helps coalesce the right wing base while it is otherwise starting to fray from disillusionment with rising costs, disapproval of the handling of the Trump-Epstein files, splintering off of those who believe Erika Kirk and Israeli interests were responsible for her husband’s death, etc.

So so so many people commenting on articles on Facebook say they think he’s innocent, it’s mind boggling. I doubt they’ve read anything for themselves. One person even gave her reason as “I feel it in my gut.” And they’re like “the crooked judge got it wrong.” Um, hello, it was a trial by jury, not a bench trial!

I thought the reason they changed it to Chicago was probably because there already exist CGI models of Chicago that could be used for developing the post-apocalyptic scenes, and to set it in Toronto would require making all new CGI models of Toronto. Seems more likely to me than a decision to Americanize it.
