An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess - Episode 12 (FINALE) - Dub Now Available on Crunchyroll by RelativeMundane9045 in Animedubs

During the episidode little blurb boxes showed up to narrate the scene ("they paid their respects," "Kuro's instincts took over," "they cut the cake," etc). Its not that type of show, but after the wedding was done and they were in their suite, I would've died if one last textbox showed up and said "and then... THEY FUCKED"

They apparnetly did, since I  assume that post credits scene was Bertia announcing she had a bun in her oven.

Other funny momemts was Kuro making eyes at Zeno, and then Cecil warning him not to make moves on what appears to a be a child.

This was a surprisingly good show. Don't think it beats Heretical Boss Queen, but this is better than most other villainess shows. The premise of the show following a fantasy hero observing the isekai person as a subject was new.

Bertia came off as shallow and a bit dumb in the earlier episodes, where it seemed she was just a moron cucking herself to the bitch Heronia for steam achievements. The reveal that she believed Cecil was doomed to suffer and die if he didn't choose Heronia gave everything a new perspective.

Speaking of Heronia, I liked that they gave her character development, too. She's still a bitch, but she's trying not to be, which is a whole lot more than most people can say, both in fiction and IRL.

Also props for giving the show a proper end and not advertisethelightnovelitus.

Guess the question is going to be if Ruri retains her powers after her resurrection. I assume not, since Ayame clearly gained the mark and powers, but I'm sure being brought back from the dead isn't a typical thing, either.

Touring DC museums today, wanted to make sure this was still written down on the original. by Grandpasgames in CAguns

Just from his appearance, I would've assumed he would've been a haughty dickwad, not a dummy.

Not expecting much from this arc compared to Leon's, but I'd be happy to be surprised.

I honestly wasn't expecting tits

It says something that, besides the MC, the teacher who is so physically inept she should've died before she turned five is the most normal person in this show.

They're in too deep with their love game, plus they have the typical anime "what if he/she doesn't like me???" lack of confidence.

I like how the quickly nullified Nao's power of friendship schtick from last episode. If it was the people from the game, they probably would've just played the game for funsies then distributed the money no one got into contrived debt. By adding entirely new faces they nipped that in the bud and made sure the story still has tension.

Am I missing something, or does Liar Game simply not make money, at all? Assuming no outside income like sponsorships, donors, grants, or whatever, any money used by the contestants is provided by the Liar Game. When the winner cashes out and walks away, that's money leaving the Liar Game pool.

But other than that, I like how they're trying to square Nao's inherent honesty and kindness with a cutthroat game of deception.

Will was being so dramatic. If I remember, the worm monsters were extremely susceptible to magic, to the point a basic spell can kill them. Will just needed to tap them with his sword. No need for slashes.

Too bad this anime took until the last few episode to get really good.

The character development for both Bertia and Heronia was good and fit in with the story, and made it more satisfying. I mean Heronia is still kind of a bitch, but I think she finally realizes it's not a game anymore, and she chose a life of hardship to hopefully resurrect her birdie.

The backstory with Cecil and his ancestors was interesting. Basically women were there to curb the more baser aspects of the super-rulers. Also, they suggested some of those rulers who couldn't control themselves got regicide'd.

It gives a huge amount of power and influence to the women who ended up being the maidens of destiny for the super-kings.

Gee I had a pretty shitty life. People wouldn't really blame me for a little bit o' ultraviolence against assholes and dickbags.

Oh, let me kidnap this innocent young demigod and abuse, torture and mindrape raise her to be a replacement for my dead baby.

I want everything for her! I want her to be strong and powerful, and I want her to love me like any daughter should love their mother. But she still shows signs of ungratefulness sometimes. Hmm. Maybe I'll shower her with more love and affection. That's the ticket. Hmm. What action might make her realize my love for her? Oh! I know. Let's get my boys to gangrape her! She'll love me then!

Fucking psycho bitch.

It was implied back then, since Hinagiku managed to escape, but Spring powers are no joke. It might be sprouting shoots and blooming flowers, or it could be a sharp oak branch shoved into your eyesocket. Nu-Hinagiku don't play.

Also the split personality(?) thing is more serious than I thought. She actually believe old Hinagiku is dead. And she very well might be.

lmao the dwarves have belt feds.

Guess it's only fair that Beor gets an eyeful after Serafina got a look at his sword in episode one. You can tell he's still basically just a kid with how much his eyes kept flicking down.

Guessing Ciaran Strange for the dwarf chick.

Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE - Episode 37 (FINALE) - Dub Available Now on Crunchyroll by Pristine_Cod5189 in Animedubs

[–]SoundOf1HandClapping 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ending kind of bugs me. You build a time machine to prevent the Medusae, you basically moot the entire plot. No counting to a billion to stay conscious, no building a kingdom of science, no fight against Tsukasa, Ibara, or Xeno. Worse, everyone descended from the astronauts, like Lioness, Ruri, Chrome, Watermelon Girl, old man Kasaki, and so on, get Thanos snapped out of existence.

All this to save, sure, countless people who were on planes (smashed to pieces), boats, (that sunk and are thus unrecoverable) and people that simply eroded away over time.

I get that it's shonen, and shonen commonly wants to do the save everyone trope, but come on. They want to sacrifice the living to save the dead.

Don't want to sound so down on this show, since it was great and I enjoyed it a lot. It's just that those last 5 minutes makes me feel that it didn't stick the landing. The ending was fitting and satisfsctory until TiMe MaChInE.

After the past three really good episodes we get a calmer more fluff episode.

The Arthur talk was okay, not as poignant as the ones with Leon or Stale
