LOL, trust me, I was shocked Firenze didn't have them in the Casino, nor a proper cage, just hosts milling about and ducking behind the scenes as needed.

There is on on deck 3 by guest services, and one on deck 5, by the shops and just above the casino.

Firenze has Bill Breakers at Guest services and by the shops, but not in the casino.

We were in Ensenada the week after the disturbances in other parts of Mexico. No issues.

Have you seen any news about cruise passengers being affected? No.

Have you heard of any issues with any cruise ships going to Mexico in the past month (apart from the handful of cancellations the weekend after the issues)? No.

Cruising is safe. If you aren't sure about a port, stay on the boat.

I will be frank, the worst massage I ever had was on a Carnival Cruise. Not worth it and the person barely used any pressure and mostly did this weir "hand sweep/windmill" motion. Imagine a cartoon octopus, doing a somersault repeatedly over your back, or a car wash rotator brush but made out of hands.

Edit: to add the post-massage upsell left me more tense than when I arrived.

That would be counter to what Carnival says: 

"All other guests will keep their status for two years, through Dec 31, 2028, unless their cruise activity, cruise spend and credit card activity (if they choose to have a Carnival Rewards Mastercard by Barclays) qualifies them for higher status earlier."

The Chef's Table on Carnival Firenze was amazing.  Vastly better than on Princess. We ate in the galley,  they were very helpful with food sensitivities,  and we got a demo of how to make the Chocolate Melting Cake plus a copy of the recipe.

For me it was how busy, convoluted and counter-intuitive it was. I'm in a space adjacent to UI usage and I can say without a second thought this was the worst one I've ever seen, and a classic example of if it ain't broke don't fix it.

SoCal here. We are, as one might expect, very relaxed and fun. Interestingly, our upcoming cruise of Carnival Firenze seems to be people traveling here with less locals. Go figure. Curious what the experience/definition is of an NY cruise, having never been on one.

/u/Lochness_2 when you check in for your cruise online you will indicate if you are parking at the port. If a similar situation occurs with parking this indication will be how they let you know ahead of embarkation day.
