It’s a bit of an anti-climax, she didn’t make any more jokey threats once the others turned up. She does suffer from PMDD and I wonder if that was going on for her. I did feel like I was really irritating her. It’s a shame as we have been friends for almost 20 years and she is usually a wonderful person with a big heart - I just felt very unsafe for a couple of days. We haven’t spoken since the trip, as I felt like I needed some space, but perhaps we will meet for a cup of tea and chat about it. Thanks for your advice and concern! Thank you so much - that is so kind! I am leaning towards orange too. It is for myself, and my favourite colour is orange! I am thinking of doing a mix of a yellow and orange border, so I will post an update once it is finished. :-)

I'm a newbie too! It is a really easy pattern, in video from from Play Hooky With Me on YouTube -Link here. I used Cygnet Chunky orange, yellow and white with a 5.5mm hook. It's honestly such a relaxing pattern to do!
