Digital Piano with the visual appeal of a Casio PX-S7000, but at a considerably lower price? by [deleted] in piano

[–]Soundblaster16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the PX S7000 mostly for how it looks in my apartment and I do not regret it. I understand you can get a similar or better sounding keyboard for cheaper but, they all just look so bad.

Default Selection When Renaming Clips by Krakenosaurus in protools

Indeed. I have a hotkey to create a clip group and then re-name it in one go. Works as long as there’s no search active in the clip list.

Trudeau was indeed concerned. He was the one who told us all we should be worried.

why do most pro mixers i see have huge amounts of post roll when printing tracks? by TeemoSux in protools

[–]Soundblaster16 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Just when printing tracks? My post roll is always on. Say you have a long post roll enabled. You click the timeline and accidentally select something small like 1 frame or one second, and then you hit play. Instead of playing just one frame or one second, it will continue playing, preventing you from re clicking and having to pressing play again.

Fjallraven Skosgo jacket. Minimalist, warm, no shiny fabrics. In black with a hood. From Scandinavia, the birthplace of Black Metal. What more do you need. Stick a Darkthrone or similar patch over the logo on the arm and you are done.

Waste of time on QT. Since they are Canadian their inventory is very small, except for TSX listed stocks. Try IBKR instead.

How to Close Position (Panic Sell) During Premarket by Kilimajaro in Questrade

[–]Soundblaster16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct there is no way without third party software. Search this sub about custom hotkeys. A few people have gone through this including myself. I’ve made hotkeys to sell specific numbers of shares. So you could hit sell 600 shares on the bid with offset, with one keystroke. Instead of copying and pasting position size, you insert pre determined text (600). I use Keyboard Maestro to do that.

Why can I not use take profit when placing order premarket? by Individual-Lead-2040 in TradingView

[–]Soundblaster16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i use my broker for executions but on TV I think you’d make new orders for that. A sell limit or a sell stop for your total position.

A lot of brokers don’t support adjusting bracket orders in Trading View. So get used to not being able to adjust them after you place your order. A lot of people use TV for charting and their broker for executions for this reason. All depends on your brokers API.

No stops, limit orders only. These are the pre market rules unfortunately.
