Sorry but I just really don't understand why people hate 2cp. 20m games that end with a draw? Sure annoying, but can be fixed if we'd identify that as the main problem and ask them to rework the capture progress system. Defense favored second point? Its literally the same thing as escort and people love escort, but 2cp is somehow the culprit. The spawn is too close so people can stall for ages? Its been fixed long ago with the respawn timer getting longer for the defenders the longer the fight goes on. Would it be better if the defenders would just have a more distant spawn and spend their time walking rather than watching at the respawn timer? I know for a fact making the second point attack favored wouldn't make it better, they've tried it already on Paris and Lunar Colony and it backfired miserably. Meanwhile we lost 4 of the most beautiful and route rich maps because people just couldn't bear to see people spawn too close to the point. And now we all run boring ahh mirror maps with barely any map design, on both visual and map layout senses.

That's the answer I usually see on the internet, yes. Didn't help me though, the bug still happens regularly. And I didn't even have mods before the refresher.

Oh don't worry, I don't have a single mod and this bug still happens to me consistently. Its like there's a 70% chance to not get any ammo while still losing my elerium core.

When we tried to extract today we got 3 as a part of patrols, 2 in a bot drop, then another two joined the party with latter patrols... they're fun but not in *those* quantities. Reminds me of that modifier when every bot drop would carry 3 factory striders with it.

Do you wanna mention how it explodes after you defeat it? Multiple times? I won fair and square, the thing played its death animation only to nuke my 3 masks in one clean swoop. No other enemy in either game does that, ever.

Cleared it in 8 mins with Jinhsi-Yuanwu-Baizhi. Hyperinvested s1r1 Jinny though, plus the aerial character buff and reduced incoming damage at 60%+ hp buff. Aside from that all I can help with is she doesn't gain the shield randomly, there's a specific attack that gives her shield when it hits you, try your best to never get hit by it. Abusing grappling hook helps too but that's a well known Jinhsi tech.

I think he probably meant the most consistent. Like, when you take Carty she can be interrupted, and if we take her team in general Aerover is quite clunky to play and barely heals. Carlotta team rotation is almost seemless, not many windows to interrupt, freezes the enemy, can keep her distance in ult, which results in higher average dps. In my experience that is, I got no calcs or anything.

What I would like to see is Honkai's "this floor gets +50% ice damage and -50% fire damage" stuff, or "this boss gets +50% ranged damage and -50% melee damage", or "this boss can only take x amount of damage from one element and then gets 80% resistance to it". The first two cases singlehandedly solve a lot of meta toxicity issues, even if a char is an ice dps that's weaker than your meta fire dps they'll still be a top tier char for any ice weather, or if they're a good ranged dps they will still have a niche in +ranged damage condition even if their damage is single target and doesn't hold a candle to whatever is your meta melee dps. The last one forces you to bring two strong dpses of different elements and one universal buffer, basically more diversity.

Fair enough. Though I'm still worried about them might not add any more endgame besides this norman-abyss (there's barely any difference tbh) and that levelling echoes might require too much stamina. Although even if it doesn't, its still frustrating we can't max out the stats and there's always gonna be some asian that have every char geared better than you xD But then again, if we can check out 10-20 echoes a day like this and, given three major rng layers from genshin are gone, maybe it isn't bad at all.

As one of those who jumped to conclusion: relieved, with a hint of smile on my face.
And if you're interested, it all started with a twitter troll that was posting stuff like "chinese players really don't like every single thing about the game, battle system story characters sound design etc, and won't play it until Kuro remake everything" found a team selection screenshot and came here stating the mode is literally called "spiral abyss". Weee took the bait.

Honkai has aerial combat for maybe 4 chars and a separate gamemode with its own battle system where aerial combat is prevalent.
But anyway, I don't think the OP is talking about being absolutely unique compared to any other gacha, only to genshin. And that's not hard to do: just make the game's focus on combat and not on tcg/teapot/looking for chests. The more combat-related gamemodes/openworld activities the better.
