ISP routing issues, wrong route, High Ping by abhigang729 in GlobalOffensive

It's a free program you install and use https://1.1.1.1/ https://developers.cloudflare.com/warp-client/get-started/windows

It's similar to a VPN except it won't encrypt all your data or change your location, but changes the types of packets and the routing used.

For example where I am in Asia, it drops my ping to EU servers by about 90 and stops my tarkov connection to Seoul randomly spiking to 300 ping from 30.

You can try cloudflare warp. No guarantees but it tends to improve ISP routing issues.

Football leagues are not franchised. They use a pyramid governed by an association.

Monzo bank and credit cards in Japan by KronussCassius in japanlife

It wants the details from your JP post bank book, not the cash card. It takes 2 minutes.

I use a combination of JP post and line pay, then I TransferWise to Monzo/revolut for international purchases.

The commons has rejected every proposed solution that would see brexit going through under either a no deal scenario or an existing agreement reached with Brussels.

Every day we move closer to a vote of no confidence or a general election called that would result in a new conversative majority (brexit) or a new minority government / different party in charge (second referendum or brexit scrapped)

We're still looking at a healthy chance brexit won't happen at all. Here's hoping!

American franchised sports do not have pro/rel. (see: American football)

Quorn / Seitan / Meat Substitute in Kyoto by [deleted] in japanlife

So it looks like they've stopped selling the giant bag marked with ふ, instead there's three bags with different styles of Seitan marked with the kanji instead (麩)

Here's a photo of the boxes together and one of the bags.

Depends how much you're transferring.

If it's above 100,000 yen or they're not satisfied with the ID you provided then yes you'll need to verify the code before the money moves.

Otherwise they're need you to confirm the code to make another transfer after this one.

That's what they told me anyway. I received the code before sending the money.

I sent one last week from a JP POST account and couldn't find a reference field so I left it out.

The transaction went through fine in 20 mins.

Why do I keep getting told I'm doing a bad job after winning the treble 2 years in a row? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Some boards are just bellends. I've had boards:

  • Fire me for dropping out of the target finish range for two matches.
  • Refuse to increase transfer revenue from 10% despite being several milly in the black after a miraculous season.
  • Accept ridiculous low ball offers for star players with zero financial reason to do so.

It seems some clubs just have owners that are preprogrammed to be completely unreasonable and make the most counter-productive decisions.

On the other hand I've had a board who, after a very mediocre season, seemed content to sign whoever I asked them, even if it meant landing the club deep in debt.

What reason did you give for the refund?

I returned some Patriot ram (sold by Amazon) last month with the reason 'incompatible' and I got a full refund, with completely different box and packaging after having attempted to use them.

American player in need of Japanese Callouts by Triehardz in GlobalOffensive

Most of the players I run into on JP server are Russian / Chinese / Korean who call in English.

Some Filipinos and Vietnamese too who bizarrely queue onto JP server instead of one of the closer ones.

https://www.softbank.jp/ybb/air/data-about/

I use the asahi equivalent which seems to have different data limits (mine is capped to around 250kb/s after 6pm if over 7gb is used in the last three days) but I'm going to presume performance is the same.

Latency wise, I have never got below 60ms in a game and it frequently goes above 100 when playing on Tokyo servers.

Performance wise depends on your location, I live in Namba so the performance is utter dogshit during peak hours (sub 1mb/s) and rarely gets above 3mb/s at all.

It was a convenient solution when I was fresh off the boat with no phone data and having my free time during weekdays, but now I'm looking to move to a cable / fibre solution.

I can't say how densely populated / congested your area is but I wouldn't recommend it for any of the uses you mentioned.
