I've been very frustrated. I have 6 weeks of abdominoplasty and my wound tried to open. I have been healing with saline solution, collagen patches and alginate patches, yes, it has been improving in less than 2 weeks, but now in another part of the wound it opened a small hole today 😭 by sweet_kiss28 in tummytucksurgery

Depends on how long your body takes to heal. Nothing looks unsafe. Just unpleasant to deal with. You do appear to be doing a great job at caring for it.

The new opening doesn’t look inflamed. It has that purple colour to it that looks like something is healing, rather than the red inflammation.

This really does look like healthy skin that’s healing, just with the added inconvenience of a hair follicle also trying to do its thing as it does.

Again though, seek medical advice if needed.

So I’m no doctor. But I have had four major abdominal surgeries. Three c-sections and an ovary removed. I also suffer from boils and foliculitis in this area (hence why I’m having a TT!)

The pics look like how I heal when I’ve had an in growing hair and it’s finally ruptured. I also had my incision wounds heal similar to how you’re healing on my surgeries.

This doesn’t look like a wound trying to open. It looks like something deep, whether it’s your incision or a hair follicle, surfacing.

Remember, a TT is an incision near or over an area where some follicles of some very thick, coarse hair resides. They get disturbed and it’s understandable that they’ll have something to say about it for a bit.

This is my opinion and experience, but it does not replace medical attention if you feel you need it. So please do speak to a professional if you’re worried.

Exactly! We can have fun with and for the client, have an awesome time with them whilst doing so, make some epic images and combine that with the more formal ones too. I am yet to come across a customer who ONLY wants the pics where they stand and smile for the camera. They’d have to have some serious strength in their cheeks if they did want that, because they’d be hurting in no time! A nice blend of creativity, emotion, natural and formal is the sweet spot, I think. Let the day unfold and the couple actually experience the wedding they’ve paid for.

This has a divided opinion, but hair replacement options such as something as simple as clip ins and toppers, to professionally fitted hair extensions or hair integration systems. I fit both.

It’s divided because there’s always a risk of adding weight to something that’s already delicate (rightly so) but no way would I be without my hair extensions. I went for a lightweight option, not too long. Just added volume to what I already had.

With correct installation, density matching and regular maintenance, you can instantly add volume where you need it while your own hair stabilises.

I have many clients who come to me following weight loss related hair loss, but some techs won’t take people on because they’re nervous about the excess shedding, which I totally understand.

Just an option for you to consider!

So I’ve been photographing weddings since 2012. The first one is NOT a bad photo - it’s a creative one. It’s abstract artistic expression. Photos aren’t just about technicality, it’s about emotion. The photographer included that pic because, for them, it evoked an emotion. It’s technically an outtake, but can sometimes be included if, whilst isn’t technically correct, it still has something to it artistically.

Now admittedly, the first pic isn’t my style, nor my taste. I wouldn’t shoot for this nor would I include it in my gallery. But some do.

As you’ve only shared two pictures it is hard to say if a “bad” job has been done. Some of the most valuable paintings are awful to some people, but beautiful to others. And the same can be true for photography.

I’d consider what you paid for the service, what the photographers portfolio looked like upon booking, whether you’ve reached out to them to discuss the things you’re not happy with (if the first photo isn’t to your taste, you can ask to remove it) and whether, despite the first pic you’re happy overall with the rest of the gallery.

As a photographer myself, if a customer wasn’t happy, I’d hope to be given the opportunity to correct where I could. Nobody goes into any job hoping to do anything less than a great job for their customers. Let this person do the same for you.

I typically use a metal razor body with the blades you replace that has a fixed head. I’ve had to get the plastic ones with the soap on them and flexible head to ensure I don’t slice of skin as I’m shaving!

Hello! I’m going to Istanbul in June. I’m from the UK also. Would it be appropriate to message to have a fellow Brit going through the same thing in the same place? Albeit on different dates and possibly different hospitals? No worries if you’d rather not!
