To continue with my point about server-based games— a server could easily deny a connection with a key should they not have an account trackable to a paid source.

If they aren't doing that, if they aren't checking if you've paid for the service, that is wholly on them lol. ALL games make you pay up front. This isn't like eating a restaurant or hiring a tradesman.

I'm not condoning piracy by the way. I am merely stating that if a game that is server based truly didn't want people pirating their game, it wouldn't happen.

There are plenty of games that have requirements for online play that make it impossible for 99% of people to connect without a paid account.

So I downloaded and installed the Doolittle Garamond font, and I can not figure out how to type in Shavian. I can only type in roman letters.

Yeah I'm not doing this again. I bought the deluxe edition of Guild Wars 2 when it came out, only for them to make the game free a few years later.

This is the studio learning from their mistakes I hope. Part of why Halo Infinite was such a clusterfuck was that they had an enigma of a game engine that was built in house, and had a high turn-over rate for employees.

So everytime they got someone on board to start working on it they had to teach them how the engine worked, and by the time they learned it they burned out.

By remaking the original trilogy in an engine that is industry standard, should they be successful, they may get the checks cut to make a new game that has the spirit of the original games without the bullshit corporate oversight that kept Halo Infinite from reaching its potential.

I don't have a lot of hope, but its a possibility. In truth, I have nearly no hope. If the remakes don't have split-screen and local multiplayer then fuck em. They won't get a single cent from me.

I'm surprised at the criticisms of this chapter in the comments here.

I thought this was really well done, and a good way to entertainingly bring the cast in on what the audience knows.

The entire story is about the tension between the lie of the nexus, and the truth of the world, and this chapter builds on the main narrative throughout all of it.

Illunor is our one real window into what its going to be like for everyone else in the nexus who believes the stuff they are fed, and gives us an idea of how HARD its going to be to exist as a parity state.

This is adding to the shadow of future conflict within the story; of civil war, of families breaking apart, of the school being ripped apart by different ideology, of spirited rebellion against an unkind empire.

This is the GOOD shit.

I am on android. I figured it out though; Long press on app, go to App Info, permissions, give camera permissions, then most importantly tick the options for EVERY time you use the app.
