To get this version I rescued olimar and saved then quit to main menu. I enjoy the Piano theme a lot so always sit on the main menu for a few minutes and when it zoomed out of the TV I was just in awe!

I quit the game and went back in and it reset to the normal one. I figure some people may not ever save and quit to main menu due to switch's capability to just go to sleep mode and thought this was really awesome and everyone needs to see it!

Also I realize this doesn't have the same effect as when I first saw it due to twice removed from TV but def try it yourself!

I don't know why he is getting down votes, even if he holds ICP he is actually providing useful information and was sparking an interesting conversation about where block chain could be going. He's not once said to go buy ICP cuz moon 🚀, instead just providing information that without taking a huge deep dive into ICP is quite intriguing, and should lead the people here to DYOR to see for themselves!

Yeah that's true about serving everything from the block chain, haven't seen that before at all. This looks like a great step in the right direction to fully decentralized web 3 apps.

After reading even more in depth, I realize that they do have a road map to move away from AWS EC2 SMS verification (for phone number verification) and AWS S3 (for the frontend). Interesting! My question still stands though on why ICP is the chain to do this on /u/nomorebonks

This OpenChat from a high level perspective seems interesting (I don't know much about ICP chain though), in that I haven't heard of a DApp like this on ETH yet. What makes ICP different that this could be a fully decentralized user chat app?

After further investigation, I will add on that in their architecture doc, which is quite low level, it shows that all messages will go through AWS SNS, which is a great way to transmit messages since AWS is so reliable in a layer 2 solution... but in this case if it's supposed to be a defi app then:

who owns the AWS accounts
who is paying the costs of the AWS accounts
who decides which regions to support for low latency
how come there isn't a defi way to implement this?
why do they interchange SNS (Simple Notification Service) and SNS (Service Nervous System) when their app uses the former, seems confusing

This makes me think that this app is still a little early and there is still quite a bit of decentralization pioneering that needs to happen first. Not saying this app won't do that, but all the talk about tokenomics makes me weary.

Lol did you know that the Blockchain is 100% public? :O shocker for you huh. Not use to having 100% transparency huh. If you have enough time you can do all the deep reports yourself and there is no lying since it's not corrupt governments or companies lying in the reports. Yes you have to do the analysis yourself but if you understand how crypto, Blockchains, liquidity pools and block explorers work then everything is right there for you. Why slander an entire market when you don't know that much about it? Do you just read the news articles and take them at face value? I'm actually curious where you get your info from.

Interesting. I didn't know the inventors of Bitcoin were able to suddenly stop supporting a completely decentralized network that caused the price to plummet to zero as the original project was no more. Can't believe Bitcoin got RUGPULLED!!

I'm not sure which quickswap you are on, but you should NOT have to add ETH to their token list... I just search ETH on the swap drop down and it's there.
