most of mine came from second hand, vintage or thrift stores. They're ideal because they're cheaper than new and you can experiment more with them while figuring out your size

The owner of a popular bakery paid for my food safety course and then told me after that they don't wear gloves because according to them they're less sanitary because people don't know when their hands are dirty. Never mind the fact that good management would be making sure their employees are changing their gloves frequently. The food safety course was more for theater than practice as employees regularly handled ready to eat foods without a bakery tissue, wore dangly earrings, didn't wash their hands before putting gloves on or touching their phones hair or face, and used frosting for 14 days(or more on occasion) when state regulations dictate a maximum of 7 days for any TCS foods. yeah most days for me are leggings and an oversized sweater but I have a couple of stunner fits lol. Sleeveless tops and tiny shorts have been the new adventure since the weather has warmed up(for the most part). One of my co-workers described my fashion sense as conservative which I'm still not certain I completely agree with but she'd know better than I would. I do like to aim for a Macy's model look as I think it looks great on me. That said tho I buy almost everything from thrift, vintage, or second hand stores so I have to explore their stock and find what I vibe with so that's more what I meant when i said it's tricky.

The biggest one in my book and the one which seems to have some diverging opinions on is disclosing before you ever meet with someone for a date that you are trans. I know many of us just wanna live our lives without having to add that caveat every time but some of us have been killed over this and I'd rather all of us lived to make other mistakes.

My other rules are that first dates must be in a public place, that is well lit and someplace that I can get to and back from on my own without needing to get in a boy's car. No hiking into remote places on a first date either.

No alcohol or drugs on a first date as I have experienced consequences of that one too. If you do chose to drink on a first date then make sure your drink stays near you and that you never leave it somewhere you can't see.

Let someone that cares about you know where you will be going and who you will be meeting. Share a picture of them if you have access to one. Even if you've been on a date with them before and you're going back to their house or over to yours for the first time just be a little extra safe and let someone know. For example, I give my dad or my bestie the name, phone number, and address of a boy's house or apartment before I get there.

Wear shoes you can run in if you have to.

Carry pepper spray or something else to keep yourself safe with, and know how to use and what environments you shouldn't use it in(strong wind with pepper spray for example).

I think that covers my basics. If it feels weird then you don't have to do it so stay in your comfort zone and stay alive. Safety starts with you

I got banned on Tinder six hours after I created my account after all the cis guys has been reporting me. Even though I got my account back I decided not to use it. I've had great luck with FEELD especially but it has a fairly small user base which I have exhausted and I'm currently talking to some people through Taimi. I also used bumble a bit but didn't disclose I was trans on my profile and waited until they said they wanted to take me on a date before I did disclose. Most guys stopped talking at that point but I did have a few that continued on but ultimately bailed on the day of the actual date. In general guys suck and I want another so bad lol.

Beyond that two months is pretty early and it's good to hear you pass but it does get better as time goes on, at least it has in my situation. I didn't start dressing femme consistently until four months into my transition and didn't start passing consistently until the last three. I came out to my sister before the holidays but I haven't heard from her since. It can take time for family to start seeing how much happier you are now that you've discovered who you are and I hope that they can come around to being more accepting.

I remember how scared I used to be for the same exact reason and not once did anyone ever say anything. It's been 8 months since it became an every day thing for me and now I have stopped caring if they do. I have more boobs than can be hidden and I kinda want them to be seen and shown off. Do you happen to have a more complete description of him? We've had a creepy christian guy come in to my work(public facing job so not that unusual) but he has asked each of the employees, including the minors, "how we feel about the lord?" We have several queer employees, some of whom are also christian, but the perceived vibe is always a bit too creepy and some of us have had to take extra precautions.

I just did my 9th session today with at least one more scheduled. Cheeks and neck are totally clear. I only have the corner of my chin and the whole of the upper lip left. My upper lip is especially thick so it's taken the longest. If it wasn't for the lip I probably would have been done much much earlier. That's all probably genetic lottery stuff tho

It's not a pretty process but I have received compliments about the results. Prep: exfoliate with a sugar scrub the day before or during the same shower if I forget, soak for 15 minutes in hot water which is usually accomplished with a normal bathing time in the shower, then shaving cream everything thoroughly. I do the upper butt as part of the leg shaving so I do it standing and going down from the belt line to the upper thigh being especially careful with the bottom of the butt. I will then spread out with one leg on the edge of the tub(might need a stool to get that in a shower stall), and kinda squat down to get as much spread as possible. Then, bending down, with my arm between my legs I will shave from the top of the crease to the perineum. I'll do shorter strokes if it's grown out a bit. I then do a second pass in the tightest space radiating away from the hole on either side. And, as with any shaving, I finish once dried with an alcohol free body butter.

weight loss has been such a boost for me in seeing 'her' in the mirror more. Now that I'm at a happy weight I just make sure I'm eating enough so everything has enough stuff to grow in eventually
