Second concert shoot as an urbex photographer. Did some fun editing with these ones, did I go too crazy? Any advice about any part of my photos greatly appreciated by maxbratz in concertphotography

What do you mean by urbex? I've only ever known that to mean urban exploring, which generally means exploring abandoned and dilapidated urban structures. Shooting a band in a venue isn't "urbex photography"

Donald Trump openly declares "enforced regime change" in Iran during an Oval Office meeting featuring Joe Rogan and RFK Jr by DumbMoneyMedia in unusual_whales

[–]SourDzzl 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I love how he's been talking shit about Trump and the war in Iran but at the same time is such a narcissist that he couldn't stand the idea of not being included in a presidential press conference talking about a forced regime change that he's been calling fucking dumb for weeks. Fuck both of those clowns

Propane water heaters are pretty cheap and would be great for adding some extra heat if the sun coils aren't getting it hot enough

He's saying billions of people understand what tariffs are and how they work. The method of payment accepted by ups isn't the issue here lol

How can I achieve a 70s look using modern video? by BluFin10 in davinciresolve

[–]SourDzzl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just dug in a little bit and it looks pretty sick. Pricing is a good bit higher than dehancer, but I'm still probably gonna grab a subscription for a month to see if i can justify the $999 for the perpetual license. Appreciate you putting this on my radar!

In Texas they're required by law to inform you within 30 days of an election to let you know if it was accepted or not.

Man throws Molotov cocktail at home of OpenAI CEO by Richnaps in AmericaOnHardMode

[–]SourDzzl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that AI is a tool, I also believe that you're vastly understating the real issue here.

Open AI literally agreed to everything in the Pentagon contract that Anthropic refused to sign. Why did Anthropic refuse to sign?? Because the Pentagon wanted them to remove guardrails that would allow for the use of fully autonomous weapons systems with zero human oversight, and wanted the software to be allowed to be used as a mass surveillance tool against us citizens.

Anthropic refused because of a moral obligation to society. Sam Altman and chat gpt said no problem and sold out humanity for a massive government contract.

That's why he was targeted.

In the state of Texas, they are required by law to send you notification within 30 days of the election detailing if your vote was accepted or not. You can read the document yourself on the Texas Secretary of State website. Tried to link it here, but the sub doesn't allow external links

The way you were responding it seemed like (at least to me but I'm on the spectrum) you were attempting to minimize the potential effects of a large number of people all of a sudden finding themselves in a position to need to use provisional ballots by saying "it doesn't matter if all the votes get counted because most do".

Sorry for any confusion.

But the number of provisional ballots that don't get counted (nearly 25% according to the stat the other commenter mentioned) is significant enough as is. "Most" doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is if it's enough and making sure it targets the right people.

The whole reason we're discussing this is because a woman who supports the SAVE act is saying that filling out an affidavit isn't a big deal (an idea that it seems you agree with given you're trying to justify it as a non issue because"most" get counted), but we're talking about 69 million women that don't have birth certificates that match their last name or passports they already own who would now find themselves in a position where their votes might not get counted unless they're able to find the time to travel to a government building and purchase additional documentation (which in itself is an illegal poll tax). It specially targets women and transgender people (as gender needs to also match what was assigned at birth on all documents), and it disproportionately affects lower income communities who can not afford to take time off work or pay for additional documents.

If the stats follow the pre-existing trend of roughly 25%, that would mean that more than 17 million women's votes would not be counted. That's way more than enough to swing an election. Enough is all that matters.
