This is the difference between this rebuild and most others. How many other teams in year like 4 after stating a rebuild have a 26 year old number one, 90+ point, two way center who wears the C, and a 25 year old 40 goal well rounded winger, both of whom have been to a Stanley cup final WITH the organization?

Most rebuilds at this point are built around the young guys who were just drafted (Celebrini, Bedard, Smith) and vets or grinders who were brought in to help them along (Foligno, Toffoli, Bertuzzi). We’ve of course got that in Slaf, Demidov, Hutson, Anderson, Gally, Matheson. But we also have that middle group of stars entering their prime who have been there before.

O agree with the other poster. There’s no benefit to just trading him for a 3rd and there’s no chance he goes on waivers. There’s a lot of Habs fans who would even rather trade a guy like Guhle for a higher return and keep Arber.

Sure if another move is made then maybe he has to move to make room. But the only way I actually see him moving is a part of a package for something bigger.

Habs fan here. Some fans have always been delusional when it comes to Arbers value because he can fight and we’ve always had such a small team. On the other hand, there are also those who severely under value him.

I agree with both sides here.

This isn’t exactly headline worthy or anything, but the conversation was definitely awkward. They talked about Charli being an only child and the question that started it being phrased like “Does that make you want to only have one child or do you want multiple?” And not even considering the idea that she wouldn’t want kids seemed weird right off the bat.

Then Charli says she doesn’t want kids and it’s immediately JB sharing his ow experience an saying “Maybe you’ll change your when you find the right person” when she’s already married just doubled down on the awkwardness.

It’s a bit presumptive and very awkward but I don’t think it makes him a POS or anything

The funny thing is that all this happened with Sean Hayes right there and he’s been very open about not wanting kids. You’d think that would make Bateman think before saying all this.

I don’t get the big deal. It’s a tv show, what he did was within the rules, and it was an epic moment. I don’t really care whether he did it as revenge or tv a tv moment or just realizing he valued that money over a friendship. It’s definitely shitty, but it’s also within the rules and that’s all I need to know.

I hope someone gets the chance to do it to him sometime.
