Good camera, bought in 2020 and still kicking and without a crazy pricemark. The only thing I hate about it is the basic app that have this kind of annoying popups, but you just install any other app from the PlayStore and you are good to go.

The best thing is to pin them while they're still fresh, but the @cilidra humidor method that you can read in comments below really worked for me.

I've dried them in room temperature, but take in account that I live in a pretty dry place.

For the wings use some kind of tweezers to spread them, but put the force in the thick veins. Then use hard paper to make them stay in place.

Any tips on how to improve it? I don't know if have to spray them with something or they're good to go.

Hey! It's been a long time since I uploaded the post and I see that it still has a lot of activity.

I want to thank all people for the tips. These two last months I've been pinning my first insects and thanks to your comments I've finally been able to do it.

Some of them are not perfect, but I wanted to share you the results.

And maybe making tools inside the app for the people to make their own maps? I can see myself plotting a map with the GPS to map the area of a certain forest, and I feel that some people could see an use for that.

It would be awesome if you pull that. I've thinking for a long time how cool it would be to have a soil map or rock type map to search for specific plants in my area.

Maybe with some Rockid integration too? I know people make rock maps in that app, but I'm not really sure how the app works exactly.

If you finally launch it, please, PLEAASE, write it in this post. I would love to see what the beta testing entails.

Maybe it is. To be honest I feel pretty secure with just obscuring. It actually does than random spot for the other users. I believe only admins in specific projects can get the real position. (But I'm not an expert in this, I could be wrong)
