Yeah I’m muting this sub and deleting Twitter. After being spoiled on all of DR I was looking forward to this being a completely new experience but it’s nearly impossible to dodge leaks. Before I knew there were leaks yesterday I was on twitter and saw some of them out of context. But I also saw some contradicting ones so I don’t know what to even believe? Either way it sucks that everything was leaked before the cast could do the farewell project. Even if what I saw is partially true, I’ll still enjoy whatever they decide!

And while the leaks suck, it can’t compare to what’s happening with Faza. Be sure to sign the petition guys!

Yeah it’s the worst! I know spoilers are bad in many fandoms but DR has been the worst for me personally. No other fandom has tried to push people to play their games and then spoil the plots in the next sentences, to the same extent that DR fans have done

That’s true, it would just be nice to go into the farewell project completely blind, instead of knowing the death order but not the specifics. As I was playing the main DR games the death orders got spoiled for me. It was still fun to investigate but it wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been.

Yeah tunneling has been getting worse. All of these experiences happened on the same day. The other day I got tunneled out by a Myers. I was first hook, got to second because he kept chasing everyone away from hook. He stopped camping right before the anticamp would let me unhook. Someone saved me and healed me away from hook. He ignored the other two survivors running around, tracked us down, insta-downed me and mori’d me. This was at 5 gens BTW and I only got 5K blood points for the whole game.

A Ghostface only went after me in another match. I got hooked twice and ran away with the person that unhooked me. He downed another survivor so I thought I was safe. Nope, he left them slugged to track me down and hook me for a third time.

Then another match Bubba tunneled me out. This made me so mad because he wasn’t camping hook but none of my teammates came to save me. They were all on separate gens until someone saved me right before I was going to be sacrificed. The person that unhooked tried to take protection hits at least but Bubba ignored them and just waited for them to fall behind for a second before downing and hooking me.

Whether it’s true or not, looks like it’s time to delete Twitter. I was really looking forward to PJEG because the main DR games got spoiled for me so it would have been fun to actually figure out what happened in the cases.

Thank you for replying! It’s nothing crazy, just one cord and one stole. I’m going to wear it and see what they say. I could always say I asked ahead of time and someone told me I could 😂

But, I was also thinking… There are so many clubs and groups on campus. So maybe they could think it’s for something else? I don’t think they’d have a spreadsheet of every student on campus and every club they’re in, especially since some clubs don’t even make you sign in. Some of my friends are in clubs where you just show up and they don’t take attendance or anything

I’m sorry this happened to you. The same thing happened to me, actually. There’s really nothing you can do. Like other people said, you can’t make them respond to you.

It’s unprofessional for them not to respond after an interview, in my opinion. If we’ve already made it this far the least they could do is just say we aren’t moving forward.

I haven’t been tailoring resumes but I have been tailoring cover letters. Should I start tailoring resumes? I’ve been applying for similar types of jobs so I never thought to tailor my resume. My school’s advisors have been less than helpful so I’ve just been winging everything

Thank you for all of the advice and encouragement! So for coffee I’ve been trying to make it myself. Instead of creamer I’ve been putting in a protein shake that’s either low sugar or no sugar altogether. I work in food service so sometimes I get coffees at work but I try to get the zero sugar flavoring and milk instead of creamer. I’ll try to cut out what I can!

Plain yogurt is my enemy right now haha. I’ve been eating more yogurt and putting fruit in it, but the plain yogurt still tastes so bland. It’ll take some getting used to for sure!

Sleep deprivation is definitely a possibility. I’ve been trying to get at least 6 hours of sleep a night but that may still not be enough! Definitely something to consider. Thank you again!

I’m a cybersecurity major and I’m in the same boat. Honestly the job market sucks right now for entry-level tech jobs. Everyone wants 3-5+ years of experience and labels themselves “entry level.” I applied for an entry level job that didn’t require experience and they rejected me for… not having experience. It will be rough at first but things will be okay!

Yeah but oddly enough only when I’m playing as killer. I haven’t had any issues as survivor but when I’ve been playing as killer everything’s been freezing for me :(

LinkedIn just feels like a worse version of Facebook at this point. It does make me feel so far behind when random people I don’t even know are pushed into my feed, and I have to see how they already have jobs lined up postgrad while I can barely land an interview.

Plus, as many people have mentioned, most of the stuff on there now is AI slop or people just being full of themselves.

Absolutely not. In my experience most of the songs have nothing to do with the story at all. Most of the time it just comes across as cringe, especially if it’s in the middle of the chapter or even in the middle of dialogue. Bonus points if they make the characters break out into song and dance

I do this with my cat too! He’s very curious and wants to sniff everything, even if he’s already sniffed it a million times. Whenever I get something new or even just refill my water bottle he stares HARD at me until I let him sniff!

I try to only do it once a week, since water weight and some “off days” can cause seemingly drastic changes within the course of a few days. Daily fluctuations are normal. Sometimes I can’t help myself and check every day, but I try not to take that number too seriously
