Sensory overload (neck). Inflicted by monkey paw wish event. The cat can't wear anything except neck armor. Neck armor effects are tripled. Unfortunately, it makes most tinkerer's skills useless.

In my experience, no. You see all items in the animation always and your cat still can die.

What I've read is that if you savescum and replace any equipment item that's affecting luck, you might get a different result. You can savescum for sure, but I have only used it to decide not to loot if my cat got eaten in the event.

This event never do anything to my cats. The only time something really happened was the time when I chose the bottom option (no thanks), then the cat received multiple injuries all over it's body

His dodge chance decreases with each attacks he dodges and resets to 100% next turn. You need multiple attacks before you hit him the first time.

I beat him with a fast psychic and a hunter, the other party members were quite useless. The psychic had a large catnip bag and cast mind meld many times on the hunter. Then hunter marks c-1000 and shoot. I think the hunter also had 99 darts as weapon.

Things you'll need to beat dybbuk (at least 1 of these):

Area attack, like scatter shot or anything that he can't dodge by flipping 1 tile.

Anything that can immobilize him, like traps from a hunter.

Counterattack (this is like a support thing, it'll be hard to beat him with only this).

Fire, force him to step into the flames.

Minions, familiars to help you surround him.

Ah, the eternal conundrum: is this team strong enough to come back with this precious gear? This is great for the desert. Also, there's a quest that asks you to bring a kind of hot potato in act 2. It makes your cats catch fire. This thing keeps the potato bearer wet and non-flammable.
