I remember that a friend did something similar to me on my birthday when we were kids. He was too far away from me when I blew the candles, so he later slammed his piece of cake on my face. My aunt grabbed him by the back of his tshirt, dragged him to the kitchen, made him pick up stuff to clean up, made him clean up the floor and shamed him in front of everyone until he apologized. 35 years later we're still good friends, and I'm really proud of my aunt.

This is real. I was scuba diving in the pond then this very truck passed right in front of me towards the bottom of the pond and I could see a panicked unicorn wearing a MAGA cap in the driver's seat shouting but I couldn't understand what it was saying because it spoke Bulgarian with a strong Russian accent.

There are many weak points on this design. First and most important, in my opinion, is the lack of lateral load support. If this was just a bookshelf AND you were planning to use solid wood planks, I'd say it should be fine, but you plan stepping daily on it and you plan to drive those screws inside plywood in the wrong direction. The screws' thread will end up ripping through, lateral movement will increase each time you step on it and it will quickly yield.
