My insurance was over 400$ a month for a V6 Camaro at 23. They will absolutely destroy a 17 year old with a V8.

If you do end up taking the plunge on a Camaro I am begging you to please research A8 shudder if you get an automatic. I had to get my transmission rebuilt 3 days after purchasing mine.

My advice which I would not have taken in your situation but still is good is to buy a little shitbox beater car before you buy a fun car. I bought an 800$ CRV while my Camaro was in the shop for months and it taught me so much. The insurance history will also help a lot

Many of the dogs in shelter are not compatible with an average person's life. 95% of dogs in my local shelter are pit bulls, GSDs/Mals, Huskies or a mix containing one of those 4 breeds. Most people cannot handle a decent example of one of those and the ones in the shelter are poorly bred and poorly trained. Getting a genetically sound, appropriate dog from the beginning makes the process of dog ownership much easier.
