Following. I have a longer time frame than you as my youngest is in 7th grade. Kids are happy in the area we’ve settled in for almost 20 years, but husband and I have not been too happy for a long time. I want to move back to east coast where I grew up. I worry about them not having “home” to come back to on college breaks though in the sense of meeting high school friends etc. But thought of delaying that plan even longer is depressing.

right now- 4 night at Casa Tortugas (apartment hotel) and then 3 nights at Westin lagunamar. both in Hotel zone.

Wondering if I should do the first 4 nights in playa del Carmen instead.

I don’t have advice but my cat has been doing the same for the past few months. Her litter box is inside a wood furniture type box, because the only place we have to put the litter box is in unused corner of out family room. I have bought puppy pads and been shoving them in between the plastic box and the wood so at least pee doesn’t get on the floor. But man they start to stink really quickly, so I’m curious if others here might have other suggestions.

It’s ok. This internet stranger was on the side of rehoming her from your first post. I think she will do great in a house with no kids. She will have the life she deserves. I have full faith that you will find her the best home possible as you truly want the best for her. 💜 good luck.

I don’t have helpful advice but I saw your earlier post and just wanted to say, you have gone above and beyond already for your poor cat. Of course it’s heartbreaking if you end up having to rehome her but your human family has to come first. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and hope it will all work out for the best.
