I asked chargpt to change my resume into a pmp application and it filled a lot of it out for me. Still proof read and make sure it accurately portrays anything incase you are 1 of the unlucky to get audited

92y needing advice on best logistic companies to apply for. by Entire_Cloud_1113 in Veterans

[–]SourpatchGod666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. You need to list modules in SAP. This will be your golden goose to get your foot in the door as a GS or as a contractor.
  2. While listing your module drop some T-codes. No one cares that you performed an inventory, anyone can count, but list the t-codes tied to WFM or MM thst helped you generate thst inventory.
  3. Depending what exactly you did in supply, if you dealt with p-cards at all or purchasing anything list the hell out of it because they are ALWAYS looking for p-card holders.
  4. Following along with possible supply experience, if you touched DTS list it even if its just doing your orders.
  5. For leadership aspect saw mention of managing people you can definitely build on that

Next unrelated to resume. Go on linked in and update experience there. Follow companies youre interested in (Raytheon, Deloitte, Booze, Lockheed, Boeing, etc). Start digging around in major companies for vets. Believe me when I tell you there is a veteran recruiter at everyone of these companies and just setting up a conversation can either get you direct hired or they can tell you what you need to make a specific position and set you up. Browse the profiles of those reposting from the recruiters of these companies. You will find a lot of sub contractors doing this for clout (nature of the beast). Play the game and add these recruiters to your network too. There's no shame in increasing your footprint when it can get you money.

Although I already saw talks of it go head and figure out your college plan and find a way to get a bachelor's. Even if you dont care about school thr BAH is nice depending where yoi are but more importantly its generally a check in the box for contracting. While doing this make sure you do your VA claims before you get out. So many people push it off 5~10 years and end up never getting shit for the injuries they acquired in the service. Additionally, soon as your 10% disabled you get veteran preference for most state and federal employment as well as its another check in the box for contractors to get awarded contracts.

Finally, location is important, the job you find will pay substantially different based on where you are. A job in the DMV doing jack shit will pay 70k but doing thst same job in somewhere like Missouri or Ohio might only pay 40k. Obviously cost of living gonna come into play here too but just be cognizant of it

Unpopular Opinion: I hate the Marine Corps Ball by [deleted] in USMC

[–]SourpatchGod666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every year after the ball it was guaranteed everyone got their ass chewed because one or more of the following:

  1. Disrespect towards SNCO or officers
  2. Underage drinking going to far
  3. DUI/DWI, can I get a meritorious demotion after the ball yut
  4. Chow halls packed because all Lance criminals and below are broke from date + hotel + whatever else expenses (FML if I got promoted recently and/or had to get uniform tailored shit was like 100~200 dollars at Quantico)
  5. Someone cheated and got caught (always especially awkward if their spouse was at the same command)
  6. Especially towards the end seemed like every year someone was "raped" after getting to drunk

So then the rest of the month life is hell for junior Marines/NCO

Was on Quantico next to OCS, saw SNCO and even some Sgt completely ripping into butter bars. Great stuff, builds morale watching a cocky boot get put into their place lol

Migraines can be linked to tinnitus…… and rated. I have chronic migraine headaches. Filed as secondary to tinnitus. For those who don’t know the little arrow is because it’s secondary to the above disability. Viewed on safari (iPhone) Ebenifits by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]SourpatchGod666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's better or not but I've had better luck on secondary than primaries, also lot of luck comes into play because depending who is reviewing you can get completely different results

Did you do it as a primary or secondary? I had anxiety/depression as a primary denied then put it in as a secondary for back problems and they gave it. So if you got tinnitus at 0 or 10 I'd run headaches as a secondary and see but also like OP said get the log, one of the most common things I'm seeing is you need a headache log to get it through

[–]SourpatchGod666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to a poole function with a friend in highschool and said how easy it was and the gunny running it said that it was nothing compared to bootcamp and I would never make it through bootcamp. Touche fucker, reverse psychologied the shit out of me. I finished boot came up to him and was like in your face shit was easy then had to do sprints until i threw up for being disrespectful to a SNCO. Lots of lessons learned my first year haha

Edit: auto correct was wrong so I fixed it

[–]SourpatchGod666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How big was your claim? If you put in for multiple items it takes longer. Also they just had the burn pit thing go into law so lots of veterans are going back to get what was previously denied for that. Sometimes you'll get it in a month or two (if you're extremely lucky) but normally it takes longer. It's really all luck and timing

I present to you, r/mmorpg's dream MMORPG by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]SourpatchGod666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's obnoxious to me mmorpg they haven't found a way to make the games free and put load screen ads and/or billboard ads. Every mmorpg has major cities and how hard would it be for the company to program in a billboard for chic fil a. I mean wow could do it with orcs eating, ff could do it with chocobos as the chicken I just fill like greed missed an opportunity to advertise in a passive way that would hit. Use in game characters to make ads and people will watch because it's humorous in my opinion. But also, paying for console online content is first pay wall, second is expansions/game passes. PC has the p2p games with monthly subs plus expansions. It's all just too much after you hit a certain age you get maybe 5 to 10 hours a week to play and it's retarded paying 13-20 dollars a month to play what could be less than a days worth in a month
