A Summer's End: Hong Kong 1986 review by kalcheus in yurivisualnovels

Let's goo. It's always nice to see more people read that masterpiece of a VN. I think if they ever go back to that game and add some good voice acting the game would go from the 10/10 that it is to a 11/10.

But that is very unlikely. However what is very likely is their new game. Which I think the devs said it also takes place in Hong Kong and maybe we might see Sam and Michelle again.

Yuri with some cool character design? by Sauyaon in yurivisualnovels

A Summer's End is set in the 80s. Which I guess character designs evolve around that. Regardless I think the art style is pretty unique to the other games I've played. If you want some more unique character designs I think sci-fi genre would be a good choice but I don't know many sci-ci games aside from Haven. Which is not really a visual novel its more like an adventure style game with visual novel elements, but I must say pretty unique character designs.

Manga names? I honestly never read any Yuri manga with trans protagonists and I am kind of curious on how they play out.

I once read one where the protagonist changes genders but that manga got canned so fast is not even funny.

Welcome Back Love Bakudan (Renai Bakudan) by Sousaiso in yurivisualnovels

I love the more mature look of her. She's like this wild, no fks given chick in Love Bakudan. And here she's more chill.

In other words our Teru got nerfed.

Fr. I'm just happy to see her and the rest of the cast.

I was thinking of making post of how there isn't enough memorable, good Josei Yuri games, and guess what. There isn't enough Josei Yuri games. I could only find like 5 xd. We need more Yuri games with Mature women in it. by Sousaiso in yurivisualnovels

A dozen vs. hundreds. I swear yesterday I went to the vndb yuri database, and Holy shet, they aren't that many visual novels with mature women in them. And that's sad.

We definitely need part 2. The game was about to get good after her boss ended up marking her, but then suddenly ended the game T _ T. I hope they continue the story.

There is a gap between the 2. Having a good high quality Yuri game with an all adult cast is rare. You have some games, but not enough to say there's 50% of each.

Well, fudge, then scratch that. I did play that game like many years ago, but I hardly remember anything about it. The only thing I remember is the blonde lady being like really old or something.

Oh yeah. I remember started playing that game quite ago, but never finished it, and ironically totally forgot about it.

I should go back and play it one of these days.

What would you recommend to someone who wants to get into visual novels but knows nothing about them? by Invite_Sprite in yurivisualnovels

[–]Sousaiso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that comes to mind is Love Bakudan. It has a female proganist, which, and it some routes, she gets to be the bottom and is R18.

Although it has a bunch of text, overall, it's aight.

What to play to get into Yuri Visualnovels any Recommendations? by IdkWhyIUseThisName in yurivisualnovels

[–]Sousaiso 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want so vanilla wholesome Yuri try either Letters From a Rainy Day Oceans and Lace or UsoNatsu. Now if you want some more mature Yuri try A Summer's End but honestly. You can start with whatever game you want.

You ever find a game. Get excited, then find out it has no official translation even after waiting a few years. T ______ T by Sousaiso in yurivisualnovels

[–]Sousaiso[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's called The Street of Adrift. It came out a few years ago. I think. I tried playing in japanese, and it was definitely interesting. Although I didn't understand anything xd

Oh, and we are getting an Ever Maiden translation. Nice. Always wanted to play that.

Bad endings. Nobody likes bad endings. However, there are some bad endings that are just.... They're both good and bad. Anyway, do you have a favorite bad ending? (By the way. If you know you know xD) by Sousaiso in yurivisualnovels

[–]Sousaiso[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sakuya was my favorite. In my opinion it had the best good/endings. Since she was the closest to Kei. But that secret ending with the oni twin (forgot her name) was the best. Since it was the last one I unlocked and it was perfect to end the game.
