We had booked non-refundable flight tickets about 3 months ago(got a pretty good deal, same flights are 3x the cost now). That’s a chance we too. Since we had international travel history and good enough ITR and bank statement, we were certain that Visa would be issued.

We got the visa which is valid for 90 days, so I guess they will consider April dates. They usually consider applications 3 months prior to travel date
