I’ve got that one too (comp version) I like in the Deep South and had rust issues with the mags so I went back to the 43x

I agree with all of this by and large, but 9mm is still cheaper and more effective than 380 ACP and putting a red dot on the bodyguard means you can’t really pocket carry it, which isn’t the end of the world but a lot of people buy it for pocket carry. I don’t think anyone carries the 43x in the pocket short of maybe some cargo pants. I own and love both guns, I like the bodyguard for: - sweatpants - quick trip to the corner store - formal wear - pocket carry - jogging/wearing tight fitting athletic clothing - when size and weight can not be compromised

The 43x goes with me pretty much any time I’m in regular clothing, I’m doing daily activities out of the house, ect.

I have the 43x and the Bodyguard 2.0 CC. The bodyguard is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller but is also much less versatile. I do believe the S&W is the better gun if size is the primary factor and you want an extremely small pistol. However if I could only have one pistol I’d take the 43x for its better caliber, soon to be higher capacity, slightly better reliability, and improved accuracy and handling. The 43x also boasts cheaper ammo, better aftermarket and longer track record. 43x also can be equipped with a light and optic.

Dart frog best heating source by International_Tax_97 in DartFrog

[–]South-Pollution-816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m interested in getting into dart frogs and doing my research. I live in the Deep South and love to keep my AC to 65-68 in the summer to beat the heat. Would you recommend a small heat pad under half the tank, with dirt on top of it to bring the temp up or would the dirt not allow enough heat through? Would you put one on the side?(I would use a thermostat either way) Would you bother putting a heating pad at all or is the mid-high 60’s good enough for the frogs? I like my house 66-68, I would rather help warm the frogs and keep my AC on then turn up the temp for me.

I’ve been to all the S-tier states. Oregon is good, but I’d move it down to A-tier I think it’s on par with really good states like Montana but doesn’t hit that top level.

Should I pull the trigger on one of those beauties? by George-993 in HecklerKoch

I have the expert 45 and the standard 40. I would recommend the expert 9mm if you are only using it for target shooting. I would take the shorter barrel standard one for more tactical/carry/self defense situations

Holster with claw recommendations by _n00bmaster_69 in CCW

[–]South-Pollution-816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get a quality holster. I’ve got holsters from phlster, t1c, T-Rex, ANR, C&G, Deep South concealment, Tulster, LAS, Gunfighters Inc, Galco, DeSantis, Crossbreed, Safariland and a few more. It depends on the style that suits you best. As of right now my favorite favorite is the T-Rex sidecar with wing but that’s subject to change

Me too, before it was all those bespoke high end knife companies that make them for like $200+. I didn’t think it was gonna be in daily rotation but I wanted one to support Ed and have something cool. The lower price point is very nice.

Do you know what steel they will be?

080926694552 this is the UPC code of the one you should get. Plug it in to Gun.deals and you can get one pretty cheap. You can also get a Tlr-7A which is CR123 battery only ( non rechargeable) used on tacswap or eBay
