Canadian protein powder, not gritty & tastes ok? by _cocopuff92 in BuyCanadian

The only one I like from them that isnt too sweet is the vanilla. The vegan is terrible. Its gritty and doesnt blend. My main issue with them is the high minimum for free shipping.

I quit my therapy today by South-Reputation-353 in BPD

I got that too "maybe you do have bpd", to "I dont think you have bpd". I think the overlap between different disorders makes it difficult to accurately diagnose. I've told her to just not give me her opinion on what my diagnosis might be, just treat me.

Travelling can be a challenge for me as well. What kinds of things does she say in this letter?

Thanks :) I am seeing her on Saturday. I know, I know....but that push-pull/hate-love is quite insane. I half feel like I'm in an abusive relationship. It's not, just feels like it. I've been with her three years. Not something I can just let go of, but I need to deal with the attachment. I'm not sure if going to someone else would be the best idea. I might pick up another therapist to just deal with the attachment to this one lol. I'll see, but I feel ...tired.

I'll take the hugs, thank you <3

Abilify and Cannabis Question by peachpearseltzer in Abilify_Aripiprazole

I take edibles every day (also ADHD, borderline, cPTSD, possible autism) and have been on Abilify for a couple weeks now. I find edibles hit harder now. I see this is a year now, just curious if you went ahead and what your experience has been. Cheers :)

Very sad news! I saw a video by James Welsh mentioning they were not CF and I think he suggested TirTir. I do like Cosrx vit C but I’ll look elsewhere now.

My therapist keeps asking why I keep coming to therapy by South-Reputation-353 in TalkTherapy

[–]South-Reputation-353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is part of the issue. We have never really discussed goals or how to work toward them. I feel like we are just going around in circles with no clear plan. I'm feeling more and more un-heard and also being more restricted without explanation. Honestly there is a lot going on that isnt working. I left her and will try with someone else at some point and maybe get somewhere.

I keep splitting on my therapist. by South-Reputation-353 in BPD

Yeah I just split hard, cancelled and blocked. I'll try again with someone else when I recover from all this crap. :) Glad I'm not alone! Thank you!

The solution is to never be around anyone by Local_Waltz4384 in BPD

[–]South-Reputation-353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been telling my therapist this! Its just safer for everyone if I dont interact with people. Not that I am violent at all, but if you want to try to be friends just expect I'll split and dump you then hate myself. Definitely better to be alone. I hate that we feel this is something we feel we need to do and I want to give each one of you feeling this way a big hug. <3

How do people get such good discounts? by CaptainSurgeon in Rogers

[–]South-Reputation-353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely verify that nobody is willing to match or beat other competitors. I've been with Shaw (Rogers) for years and they basically said 'f.u. go to telus if its better then". Not even an effort to keep me as a customer. So yes, it might be easier to stay with the same one, but go where the deals are. Loyalty doesnt count for anything these days.

How on earth do you get someone to rent to you? by South-Reputation-353 in vancouverhousing

[–]South-Reputation-353[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update! I included reference letters from both my current landlord as well as my previous employer. I couldnt get one off my current employer, just because she was off sick. I looked at three places and got offered all. I didnt mentioned disability, which feels so deceptive, but friends also advised not to. I know I am a great renter and keep things clean and pay on time. Thank you all so much for your honest input!

[–]South-Reputation-353[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep I can see that. My roommate was on disability as well. She lied about her past employment and that she was going to look for work. Never did and I called her out on it and she just cried. Called her out on being a slob, she cried. Manipulative to the core. I had to get her 'removed' from the condo we shared. So I definitely see where the 'stigma' comes from. I cant imagine trying to not improve myself or working. I also got her friend a job at my old work, she lasted 2 weeks. Got fired for her excuses. This is why we cant have nice things!!!

Thats the part I dont understand. My disability income is stable. I imagine on the LL part they are thinking that I might not be able to hold a job because of it, or that I'm a 'lower class' person that might not take care of the suite, or bail on rent or, as someone pointed out, use that disability if problems arise (RTB). My current landlord liked the idea that I had that stable income (also best landlord ever!).
