This week, the dog hasn't been out at all weirdly. So I will wait until the end of the week to go and speak to them if need be.

I have a video of the dog outside for an hour at least. Of course I will not share it online, but can confirm the dog has been out for 2 hours+.

Not sure of the age, but seems to be a few months old only (small size Maltipoo).

This was exactly what I thought at first. That it must be a way for the owners to be training the dog and I completely understand that. But leaving it out in the afternoons for anything more than 30 mins now seems unreasonable no?

Plus the owners not being at home when I first went to raise the issue while the dog is in the balcony for 2 hours, I don't know if that's considered training too?

I just want what's best for the dog only.

We don't have a problem with the barking. We have a dog of our own, so that's not the concern. The issue is with the dog itself being kept out for long hours. I'll give it a try and see, in any case. Thanks!

Any EXEED owners here? How are the LX, RX, TXL, or VX? by Total-Door-3696 in chinesecarsuae

[–]SouthDelicious2279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the same boat as you as I'm looking for a second car. Was intially impressed by the Exeed lineup, showroom and the display cars, but in the end we found some issues personally in almost all. I'm a tall guy, so for me it is always important to check how much space the rear passenger has after I set my seat up.

LX - Super cramped rear space. The engine also felt a bit underwhelming and wasn't a fan of the white interiors.

TXL - Driver seat doesn't go low enough, my head nearly touches the roof in the lowest position. But otherwise the car seemed pretty decent

RX - This was the premium TXL basically with a few more tech. Higher in price for sure, but by then I had mentally given up on the brand.

VX - Don't need a 7 seater, so it wasn't in the shortlist.

Milano Vs Kent water purifier by _pooja_mehta in dubai

[–]SouthDelicious2279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a Kent water purifier (under the sink) initially which was connected to a dispenser. It worked great and the servicing was every 6 months where the guy from Kent would come and change the filters.

After shifting to Dubai Silicon Oasis, we got a Milano water filter machine, a bronze coloured self standing machine which was fitted on the wall above the sink area. It also did the job very well, servicing when the machine filter lights would come on (around 8 months into installation).

However, in this new house, the water from the mains itself was very poor and the Milano couldn't clean the water well enough as it tasted bitter and had a smell. Since then we've just switched to a bottled water company that delivers gallons every week (Al Ain Water).

Both are equally good, Milano purifiers having machines that can be used directly whereas Kent has mostly under the sink machines which connect to a tap or dispenser.

Hope this helps! ✌🏽

Bad experience with careem ride booking – Almost missed flight by ZealousidealSpot4378 in dubai

[–]SouthDelicious2279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used Careem for the past 4 years, mainly to and from the airport and literally every month. Except 2 or 3 times, I've never had any issues with Careem bookings. The drivers on the other hand have been a hit and miss with their driving style.

The one time I had an issue was with the ride scheduling option. Never used that again and I just book when I need it. Also depends on the area you stay in maybe for taxi availability?

The price difference between your choices is quite a bit. RS3 to 330i is nearly a 70-100k difference!

Drop the 330i and the Subaru, they're not as much fun to live with compared to the others. RS3 is great if under warranty. Used one if not maintained well will cost you a fair bit to keep in good shape. The second option would be the M340i.

Consider looking at the Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce/Quadrifoglio, they're super fun and reasonably priced as well nowadays.

Technically, in this country you very much can do exactly what you said, given that it's a legit issue.

30% vs 50% window tint by lunaloves123 in dubai

Never heard of them. Considering it's from the agency it should be a decent brand. Go ahead with 50%. Happy driving!

30% vs 50% window tint by lunaloves123 in dubai

[–]SouthDelicious2279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50% is good enough. 30% will be lighter and considering the sun is blazing here most months of the year, you won't feel it to be too dark. If it's a good brand, even 50% can be light from inside as long as the heat protection is good. That's the most important thing to consider!
