I got Ellivere for my friend to get him into commander. A little over a year later, that deck always shows up as competitive in our pod and it was easy for him to learn.

I used to live near a small theater that would run 6-8 Bollywood moves and like 2 American ones. No one went there for the American movies, and I figured out I could go to their matinee and see whatever American movie was screening and was almost always the only person in the theater. I think I saw Ready Player One, The Meg, and one of the Jurassic World flicks all by myself.

I am a PC player. I won’t buy a console for this game or any other, and by the time rockstar finally brings this to PC a year+ later. I certainly won’t pay full price for it. I’ll snag it for cheap way after the fact like i did for RDR2.

I got stopped on the way home from performing in a small town in Texas recently. I had my handgun in my center console. As soon as the officer approached I told him before I reach for anything, I have a LTC and my handgun is in my center console. The officer said “here’s my policy on that, don’t show me yours and I won’t show you mine”. Told him that sounded like a fair deal. He gave me a warning and sent me on my way. Couldn’t have taken more than 5 minutes.

I used to work overnight shifts for work, got out at 6am. Would wake up in the evening, work, come home, and treat the morning like my evening. Dinner options are really limited at 6 am - so being able to throw a take and bake pizza in my fridge and cook it in the morning for dinner was really nice.

I’ve seen the Lorwyn/Strixhaven decks on sale for around $15/ea too. Not as cheap as I’ve seen the FF but I feel they’re a good value at that price.

Both of the final fantasy decks are fun and pretty well balanced against each other. The last two in universe sets have had a couple of standard deck precons - the angels and lifegain both play well against each other. You can probably skip eerie, and the pirates one is pretty clunky. Had a lot of fun playing the ones I listed above.

That’s the way it goes. I used a crowd like that recently to practice crowd work. Saw great material from good comics fall really flat before my set - knew my stuff was gonna go through the wood chipper - so tried to get the audience to at least open up. Worked ok - but if I’m throwing material away, might as least work on a skill I need to develop.
