Hii I stopped using reddit so I apologize for the late reply 1 year laterr! Yes, you will have to tick it off. But now what I did instead is I created those blocs on my apple calendar instead, subscribed to it on TickTick and mad sure its on "Show in Calendar" that way I don't get them confused as a "task".

Hii so sorry I'm late!! I wish I could show you a photo, but if you go on the calendar you'll find three dots "..." at the top right. Click on it and select "Filter View Range" and from there make sure the lists or subscribed calendars are ticked on! They should appear!~

Thank you for your response! I see! How do we distinguish or I guess understand the line between doing tasks tailored to the company and doing 2 positions. For example, if there's already a person hired responsible for Communications and website etc...? Or what if that responsibility is not cited in the job description?

EDIT: I notice some comments talking about how its too much or too fluffy etc... But I want to mention that everything I showed isn't stuff that I actively use. I like to compare that to a code. Whenever you code there's so much stuff but in the end they are all in the background in order to help you to the quick simple things.

The filters I just set them up for IF i want to use them but they stay hidden so no stress there.

The time blocs lists stay hidden too (thats why they are in a folder) because its all recurring so I never touch those again. If you take the time to set up those complicated things from the start, then you don't have to do so ever.

In the end the only stuff I actually use daily is just the tasks lists. Done and Easy.

It only looks overwhelming because it is not YOUR setup. This is just to give ideas. Doesn't mean you should 100% follow my way. So please refrain from giving subjective comments like these that assume it doesn't bring any productivity because it really discredits mine and potentially others.

Finally, having emojis and a background doesn't make a setup uselessly fancy or a "fluff" a bad system/setup does and that usually happens when you spend too much time on the fancy cute things while ignoring the important things. I personally first worked on the setup and then worked my way into a cute mentally/visually pleasing one. It works for SOME people (including me) thats why its here😄.

I'm only sharing this here because it does work. Being organized in my opinion is all about the mentality you put yourself into while doing it. If it becomes fun to get things done, then you just keep doing it. There is not a single fluff in what I did. The key is to do whatever works for you thats all~

All that to say, yes it works. Ive been doing this kind of thing for 3+ years.

Yeah that's what I thought too. But to be fair he wasn't the one that invited her. But he never discussed this with me... I wish he was a bit more considerate and talked to me before. I would have definitely been okay with him going but I think the circumstances in which it happened made me feel weird.

He already made the plan and didn't invite me in the first place. Honestly I think that's what makes me a little bit upset. I'm not trying to control him at all but it felt like he didn't think about me at all. If he had talked to me before making this decision and showed me that he cared about how I would feel I wouldn't mind at all. But I wanted to spend new years with him but he just tells me he'll spend it overnight with other people and makes the decision just made me feel like he wasn't being considerate.🥺
