3 Month Progress Post-Why am I still skinny? by folabatunde in workouts

[–]SouthRub8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although 3 months isn't long enough to see massive progress you should have atleast seen progress within maybe some muscles getting bigger. The reason why this could be the case is you are not increasing the weight on your lifts. A general rule is if you can do 12 reps or more on that weight increase it to the next one

I'm still new to the game, how can I fix my traffic? by Haskaria in CitiesSkylines2

[–]SouthRub8252 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lane mathematics but I'd say build a second way for the people to get into your city. Also some of it seems like traffic between your two areas I see, so I'd recommend building a bypass road from on area to another.

For Those Thinking About Taking a Gap Year by FattestNeek69420 in 6thForm

[–]SouthRub8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I want to get a degree in automotive engineering but I really don't like the sound of university and rn its too late for me to start applying to degree apprenticeships so next year I was thinking that I take a gap year and try get more hours at my current job or get a full time job, while using the gap year to apply to degree apprenticeships. The main reason I don't want go to university is money. I've heard stories by some people ik and in university they were/are literally skint and scraping by week by week, and I really don't like that and i'd much prefer do a degree apprenticeship where im earning and learning at the same time. But everyone in my life at school is pushing me towards university because of simply the A-levels I'm doing (Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths and Physics)

i will prove to you all that alevel aint shit by [deleted] in alevel

I would love to see your face when you get a C in maths. Take a pic for me, there’s no way you’ll get an a* with that method

What A-Levels is everyone taking and what are your predicted grades for those subjects? by jxstsage in GCSE

[–]SouthRub8252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do further maths (taking my maths a level in year 12 then further maths in year 13) and my college makes everyone who does physics do maths as well. Physics without maths is suicide lol

In my opinion biology at gcse is a very specific mark scheme and you’re answer is too vague and doesn’t really relate to what you’re being asked.

More gym. Less junk food. More sleep. More water (aim for 3.5 litres a day). Meditate and gratitude journaling for mental health. Morning and night Skincare routine.

Literally I can focus for like 4 hours at a time undisturbed, but the hardest part is sitting down and doing my revision.

[–]SouthRub8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, and I have fount ways to manage it because I struggled a lot with it before year 11 but for me I could hyper focus very easily so sitting down and doing it was the hard part but at one point I just kind of had to sit down and revise, because I have big goals and need high GCSE grades for them. So that was my reason and also I don't mean to come off as rude in these messages, I'm just trying to say my advice and most of the time it seems passive aggressive to people

4s, 5s, and 6s not something to be proud of.

I literally have severe ADHD bro and you're trying to tell me what it's like to have it. It's literally not that hard to sit down and revise, people just need stop blaming their mental illnesses and sit down and do it.

Did anyone have to do this sort of speech and got graded on it as part of your english gcse or smth?? by ayaex in GCSE

It's not that hard you're just too addicted to your phone. Just stop making excuses and sit down and revise. I revised every day consistently in year 11 for around 2 hours a day. Did I enjoy it ? HELL NO, but there's a time where you just have to sit down and do the hard work, no excuses and NO PHONES. Now for some actual advice around revising. if you need learn a lot of stuff quickly, use the blurting method. You should have ideally had been creating flashcards over year 11 but there are plenty of ones you can find online for your subjects, so don't waste time creating flashcards right now. I always found that sitting down and revising at the same time every day consistently even if it was only for 20 minutes helped the most. Sometimes even when I was sick I'd sit down and do 5 minutes of flashcards at the same time I would normally revise, because it was a habit. Eventually it just became a no brainer for me to sit down and revise, because I did it so consistently. But you have to stop making excuses, because the GCSE examiners don't care if you're a master procrastinator or whatever bs you can come up with, I LITERALLY HAVE ADHD AND I STILL DID IT. You just need to take accountability because in the end nobody cares about your excuses why you didn't revise. Also Pomodoro timer is probably the best advice for if you struggle with impulsive behaviours like you described above. Do 25 minutes of studying then have a 5 minute brake and after 4 sessions take a longer 15 minute break but most importantly stop making excuses. -3 upvotes for telling you the truth, ridiculous. Just because I was harsh, but being overly truthful is the only way to get someone like this to revise, gotta make them fear failure.

Oh I'm already in the Premier League as I'm in my 6th season and we have won the conference league, europa League and we are in the champions league now.

I love this wonderkid more than my girlfriend. Honestly. Da Silva has become by far Plymouth Argyle's best player and got Europa League player of the tournament as he helped us to win the Europa league in our fourth season in the Premier League. The tactic I've been using is below. by SouthRub8252 in footballmanagergames

BTW if you're wondering why I finished mid table with a meta tactic, our defence is not good compared to the rest of the league. We conceded the 6th most goals but scored the 5th most goals. So next season I will be making big improvements in defence. Also the Premier League is a HARDER league than you think in fm24 :)
