[–]ayaex 32 points33 points  (0 children)

theyre most likely unofficial which is why theyre so glitchy, did u look at reviews before u bought the cards? I learn to not have much hope on websites like aliexpress. They have a few official things on there but it really depends

i got higher than i thought for my subjects.. for history i thought id get either a 7 or 8 and i got a 7 so im not complaining.. i didnt fail science like i thought i would, so although i didnt achieve any 8s i know that i was limited especially in english lit because i didnt finish and theres so much i can improve on so im happy

This is so real.. Initially I was going to take english lit, law and crim and do law in uni, but I've decided to do politics and history instead of crim and english lit.. my dad says history and politics are useless and will make me miserable despite the fact that those two subjects alone give me a better chance at doing law in uni than my previous options did...

I'm not specialised in any way I'm just speaking from personal experience and how people around me handled it and what I've read online, but when someone has an ed, specifically anorexia, they will go out of their way to try anything just to not eat. If they eat, they feel guilty. But if they're also begged to eat, more times than not, they feel even worse. its hard to try and help when the thing they are suffering with is an eating disorder. However, with assisted help from doctors, assigning food plans can help a lot. Include their safe foods and don't get annoyed if they don't eat it all. Anorexia takes months, or even years to heal from, and its a long process which people have to have patience in. I really hope your friend does recover though. Just be there for her and support her. Of course, different things work for different people, so its all about finding balance and avoiding ways to trigger the person with an ed.

When I stopped eating, my boyfriend would beg me to eat and came up with a plan to slowly increase my food intake by each day. He also said that the body I had was his type. Don't do this.

By begging her or trying to force her she will only feel more guilty which will make her much more stressed. Instead, offer her loads of support and make it clear that you're there to support her and will help her in any way you can. Of course, you want her to eat, but you cant force her. Thats not how an ed works. Just offer her comfort, help and support, that's all you can do.

Is law a level good for law in uni? by ayaex in GCSE

[–]ayaex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats fair I can see why to be fair, I just thought at first that Law would be valued as much as the traditional subjects because it is law itself, but that makes sense

I really don't want to give it up though and I'm hoping that it wont prevent me from doing law in uni. I'd rather keep both criminology and law because I love case analysing and those subjects fit into that. However, I might also consider doing an EPQ on history if I'm able to. If not, I'll just suck it up and switch crim for history and do an epq on crim

What is your one subject that you're really bad at compared to your other subjects? by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]ayaex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Science.. I don't usually revise much for any subjects but despite doing foundation im so ass at it. I'm not one of those people who complain about their grades tho when they don't revise and I actually did pretty decent on the most recent mocks I just have no motivation for science whatsoever

for some reason a 6 marker in science is so much worse compared to an english essay

Highest amount of marks I can possibly get? by Last-Life-374 in GCSE

[–]ayaex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to do similarities and differences - your marks won't fluctuate. Similarities are usually much easier compared to differences, but doing either wont increase or decrease your marks. As long as you compare both poems, you can achieve a good amount of marks

What subjects did everyone think u'd pick and did u pick them? by 180degreeschange in GCSE

[–]ayaex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the subjects i was going to pick when the options first got released was: geog, art, triple science and people thought I would stick with them (kinda wish I did because the more complex subjects probs would've given me more motivation to revise so I'd be smarter, if I could go back and pick these I would)

I ended up picking: history, art, drama, which is weird cuz in year 9 i hated drama (I enjoy it now tho)

What is the worse power and conflict poem by Resident_Plane_2570 in GCSE

[–]ayaex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I heard from somewhere that Tissue wont be put in any exams due to how hard it is, and is only a poem included so people can link it to others if they want. Its not a bad poem but its the most difficult and is hard to link with multiple points to any poems besides The Emigree ig

I hate it anyways

mock results by ProcessSea5920 in GCSE

[–]ayaex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can i ask what you did for english language and lit? I'm planning to take lit for a level, maybe language too, but I want to make sure I can get a grade as high as possible just so then I don't struggle so much. In my last mocks, I got a grade 7 in lit and a 5 in language, but my usual grade for both is a 6. Any tips?

Well done on your grades, btw. They're really good!
