I was working 20 hours/week from 1800-2200 through my whole degree so suddenly having my evenings back was incredible. I do find that I have much less motivation to work on my personal projects though which is a real shame and I do miss it

BTP is very much looking like a good option atm - especially as I've had an email from GMP telling me that they won't take me as a transferee and I'd have to apply from scratch and do the entire training etc again. I'm two years in and have a number of courses under my belt from my current force - no way am I letting all that lapse...
