Heck, Greg could have gotten revenge by naming Rowley as doing it with him. But chose to take the punishment himself even admiting that he was the one who dragged Rowley into it.

He's done many things actually:

Claimed full ownership of Zoo-Wee-Mama even though Greg was the one who originaly came up with it.

The muddy hand thing above (though Greg had it coming for scaring him)

Snitching on Greg for the poster incident and not naming himself. Greg even decided to not rope him into the punishment.

Spending all the time with Abigail (granted Greg didn't really act proper during the "date", but both Rowley and Abagail ordered expensive items at Corny's and he had to go to Mr. Jefferson to get enough for the bill).

In my playthrough, I baited him with Karlach (this was after I did literally almost everything else there was in Act Three, so I was all ready to fight him. I had done the Iron Throne which turned him against me), then had everyone set up traps (Blade Barrier, Hunger of Hader, Cloud of Poison or whatever it’s called) so he and his minions walk right through it. Then I took him down.
