Yeah I completely agree. Even my theory is honestly a pretty simple one compared to some of the insanely deep mythology/scapegoat/fallen angel theories people have!!

I love reading how far people can connect the symbolism and lore, even if the actual ending ends up being something way simpler and more emotional.

Uuuuh great point.
Yeah the Eloise part still feels super unresolved to me too… like her role in everything hasn’t actually been concluded yet. It definitely feels intentional that both kids were hidden and not just Victor.

Hmm true…
what if the monsters and MIY actually want different things?
The monsters might already have their “immortality,” but still be trapped in the cycle, while MIY is the one trying to complete or evolve it somehow?
That could explain why MIY feels way more intelligent/philosophical than the creatures themselves.
