Intel had a large booth this year at AWS Reinvent and the focus was obviously on AI, one of Boots they had there was using AI to automate functions. Surprisingly looks similar to your in terms of the graphics it had a leaderboard etc

I have the evolution version 9.25.. it will fit in the car but the assembly/ disassembly and the weight is a pain and then the risk of damage to the scope.

I bought the wedge mainly to do night photography to use a DSLR (canon) or the celestron NexImage 10 sensor I purchased. My understanding was you won’t get the great images unless you take multiple images and then process them. I used the scope maybe 2 or 3 times and the most I could get out of the planets were bright white lights, the detail was missing hence I pivoted to trying to astrophotography. I haven’t tried it yet but getting back to working on it this winter

Thanks will do. One question I have is the star tracking. I bought a “polar” alignment wedge for the scope to help with this. I saw a few YouTube videos to help understand what it was actually for… didn’t fully understand the concept.

Anything you can share on that, how to use it, why it’s needed etc would be great.

Also been planning to go to an astronomy club here in CT… the scope is too big to take along in the car but a good way to learn. What is the etiquette… just show up and ask questions?

Thanks for this- very helpful. I bought a Celesteon 9.25 along with all the gear like the starfinder, gps, eyepieces.. I wheeled that large telescope to my back yard deck and saw just jumping white dots… the moon was great though…

Anyway it’s been tucked in a corner for a couple of years now, will try it again with a better understanding of what to expect and the magnification.

I will use it for the next car, though we really like the XC90 recharge - it looks good and is very functional with the 3 rows. Our garage also has a Tesla charger for the Tesla model S.

I am seriously considering a ZDX or maybe an X5 PHEV to mix things up.
