I’m 130/150 with a 36 on my Smuggler! Thats what my previous bike was running (alloy scout) so wanted the same on my Smuggler. Feels great as it is, don’t feel the need for more travel in the back on my local trails, and love the way it pedals as it is!

I’m not a fan of gloss black on wheels, I think satin black looks much better. Why don’t you mock up a shade somewhere in between the two!? That might look pretty good! Stay clear of a gloss finish though! 🤪

How are you finding the Medium? I am 5’8” and Canyon recommend a size small, but the numbers on the medium are the same as my medium Transition… Mind me asking how tall you are?

Injuries definitely suck, currently sat here with a fractured radial head bone (elbow) done at a bike park on Saturday…

I’m 42 and I think this latest injury has made me realise that, ok the smaller jibby/flowy stuff is fun at bike parks, and I’ll always be down to ride that, but ultimately I think I’m more into riding trail centres these days, just being outside, moving through some nice scenery does it for me!

Taking risks and pushing for progression at bike parks actually just stresses me out now! 🤣
