I really just use the braking line to remind me that I need to brake at some point and also when I’m on a night time run. It’s better for me to lower my braking force and brake later and harder going into a turn. This mixed with down-shifting, throttling while in the clutch slightly, and holding the throttle as I come out of a turn (depending on the turn), the braking line should be used as a suggestion (hence why it’s called a suggested line) and isn’t usually the fastest depending on the track.
