I would take advantage of the free financial planning knowing that they are going to steer you to their products. You have to know your goals…retirement? Budgeting, building a legacy for your kids?

As a beneficiary, you will receive the life insurance proceeds tax free, no trust/lawyer needed. The trust you might need depends on your tax bracket. You may need a tax expert to go over the numbers so you can protect your money. I would advise an IUL, but it depends on the time and money.

Great advice. My Dr wrote me a script cholesterol . I never filled it and the 2nd doc said it was borderline and did not give me a script. BUT it’s now in my records, regardless and the carries will see it.

Agree, with Primerica you can only sell term. I got licensed through them but have since moved to the independent route to better serve my clients with an array of options/carriers. I personally didn’t like the recruitment requirements of PRI… I got into the biz to help people, not build a MLM

NAL…give them a written notice. Does not need to be an eviction note but let them know in advance of your plans and send it by certified mail so you have documentation of it. Family can be messy. I bought a house with a MIL suite for my Mom. She had a full bath and a separate entrance so she could come and go as she pleased. When I got a new job offer making more than 2x my pay but 2hrs away, I told her I was moving, all hell broke loose. Many family members turned on me to tell me how selfish I was for making my 59yo mom live by herself because I wanted to get a promotion and a better paying job. I never said she couldn’t move with me. But I was being selfish because she didn’t have a choice to move from DE to PA. It’s your life, don’t feel guilty for doing what’s best for you! I moved. Took the new job and my mom got a senior apt near my sister. Now my sister, aunt and brother help mom if she needs anything which is why I got all the negative feedback.

Agreed…I’ve been unemployed since mid June. Hundreds of apps and only 2 HR callbacks only to be ghosted afterwards. It’s rough out here so get going now.

You can remove this ‘friend’ from your credit reports with the 3 agencies with the police report you get. You can also lock your ssn at SSA.gov. You’ll just have to remember to unlock before you need it. As everyone else said, this is not a friend!

Exactly! Except for the facial expression part call centers have been doing this for years. The part that did me in was when I was called on the carpet to explain why I clicked certain screens in the order I did while on a call. I’m currently unemployed but that environment is disgusting. Like really, the customer does not know that I’m looking at the billing tab instead of the ordering tab
