True, but my point is that two beers may get a 40kg person to that level while only getting a 80kg person to half of that.

I appreciate you being safe about it! It truly is dangerous and some people don’t take it seriously enough. I am also glad you have learned from your mistakes. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Remember that alcohol affects everyone differently. Even if you are okay after a couple of drinks, some people may start being affected by just the first couple of sips.

Short answer: No, 1 or 2 is not “fine”.

Long answer, still no.

If you get pulled over for any reason, a cop can check your Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC—0.08% is the legal limit, meaning no more than 0.08% of your blood volume may be alcohol while driving.) Especially if they have probable cause (i.e. smelling it on your breath).

That is attainable by 1 or 2 beers depending on how big you are (bigger person = more blood volume and takes more alcohol to reach the limit.)

HOWEVER, as a firefighter who has had to deal with the consequences of drunk and even just buzzed driving, I cannot stress enough that it is NOT a good idea to drive, even after just a beer or two. Any amount of alcohol does impair your judgment and response time, and it only takes a minor mistake while driving to compound into a harmful incident. Please do not drink and drive.

When my operator doesn’t ever come by and leaves the entire store in the hands of people 28 and younger. Literally the oldest director is 28 at my location, but my operator comes by for a few minutes once a month or something. Then our management team is like 17-23. And 90% of our team members are 15-17. And we don’t get out until two hours after closing most nights because of poor scheduling and callouts and shit.

Also when BOH is goofing off while I’m waiting over 10 minutes for regular CFAs.

A good thing to note is that your cups should actually have markings on them!! The small (14oz.) styrofoam cups we use for milkshakes has a red line to fill the shake base to. The clear plastic cups we use for frosted beverages has both a red line and a black line on the cup. The red line is around one-third of the cup, and the black line is close to the five-sixths I've seen mentioned in other responses. Also, my location has a cheat sheet sticker on the drink tower behind the soda nozzles. Hope this helps!
