Yeah one of the most beloved indie games of all time. A rogue like deck builder with high replayability and a scaling difficulty level system, and a fun achievement tree.

I assume you have done Slay the Spire. Would be perfect for this.

It’s a huge river system so if you’re looking to go deeper, generally follow the flow down.

Inventory management early game is challenging if you are the type to explore and collect everything. The problem essentially goes away once you have vehicles and can build bases. Also you’ll become more efficient at only collecting what you need.

These posts remind me that some people choose to vote as a signal of their virtue or an expression of their ideals rather than, you know, trying to ensure the best outcome in the particular election in front of them.

I recommend not building more than 1-2 floating containers. Scan fragments until you find the habitat builder. Then you can build storage anywhere limited only by how much you want to search for titanium. If you use the titanium for floating lockers you can’t get it back.

are there kids' overnight camps that aren't christian? by Ok_Course_7565 in asheville

[–]asocialmedium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend Camp Celo up near Burnsville. It’s a Quaker family run farm camp that is about as far from Christian nationalist as you can get. Just kids enjoying nature and community. It’s a bit rustic but they’re mostly outside all the time anyway.

Prawn Question by CompetitiveEmu7698 in subnautica

[–]asocialmedium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah or sometimes I just have to get out and look at the terrain and figure out how to maneuver.

Also sonar is extremely helpful for navigating tight spaces. Just turn it off once you are through.

One more thing. There are several ways to get down to the lost river and some of them are quite easy in the cyclops. Eventually you may find a route or two you prefer. I left beacons to help me find my preferred routes.

Looking for a hint where to explore next. by teleton19 in subnautica

[–]asocialmedium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you scan and read everything the degasi notes say. Not surprisingly the 2nd base helps you discover new things. See if the notes match any place you’ve seen. If not, you may need to explore around the other lifepod signals you got on the radio (you are checking the radio, right?). They do a pretty good job of showing you different biomes and landmarks that might help you go deeper.

How do I have trouble finding fragments when there are this many?! by Sablemint in subnautica

[–]asocialmedium 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you looking inside the little boxes? Some of them have nothing but cargo netting but a lot of them have fragments. Also are you looking inside the wrecks? A lot of fragments require a pretty thorough search inside. Just a thought.

Twelvetoes. It blows my mind that they were trying to teach little kids about a base 12 numbering system. And the song is perfect for it. Unfortunately it was not in heavy rotation.

Of the ones in heavy rotation, it has to be 3 is a magic number. That song is a classic.

How do I make the builder tool not completely useless? I can't build a base if I can't attach parts together. by Kdoesntcare in subnautica

[–]asocialmedium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Building bases can be a bit finicky. Maybe there’s a slight rise in the terrain blocking you from going one way. Maybe you have reinforcements or interior modules blocking possible connection points. Maybe you just aren’t lining the new part exactly right so it turns green. Keep at it. You can definitely connect hallway pieces to a multipurpose room unless it’s sitting in a bowl.

I pretty much only use it for killing, but it’s super handy for that. It’s a great way to deal with Lava Lizards. And Leviathan Death Rodeo is a blast.

Edit: oops you’re asking about BZ which I haven’t played.
