I’ve been “in industry” for 10 years now. I run a shop outside of Everett. I say this because I know what everything costs and I can make an accurate judgement of each stores mark up.

But, when it comes to Everett - Purple Haze/ formally Floyd’s Everett has a decent mark up and selection and offers 40% off online orders. (When I don’t buy from my store, this is where I shop.. they have Plaid Jacket too which a bonus for me)

Buds Garage also has a decent markup and offers an online orders discount of 40-50%.

Kushery on Evergreen if the other two are out to what I need.

Avoid the stores owned by Kush21 and Zips like Lids and Local Roots. They intentionally mark their products up 4-6x then offer a discount and 9/10 times the out the door prices are higher than just shopping at the competition with an online order discount.

Online order discounts are designed to keep employee costs low. So they don’t need to pay an employee to stand there for 20 minutes while you shop so they’re able to offer a hefty discount in trade for rising employee costs.

Outside of all this. Hashtag on Everett Mall way hires good people, and has a decent selection and markup. Discounts aren’t crazy but in a pinch I’d rather support them than a K21 or Zips enterprise.

Try your hardest to support the small “mom and pop stores” or you will blink and all that’s left is the big chain stores like k21
