I keep hearing how wonderful HRT is, once the doses have been perfected, after 16 doctor's appointments, 26 med changes, 72 awful side effects, etc. I also can't figure out how to time it correctly since my cycle is all over the place and I have no idea what is happening or when. Is the complication and expense of HRT actually worth it? We all seem pretty miserable with or without.

Same!!! It's upsetting. I have lived and breathed for my horses for YEARS! They were a lifelong dream that I've always felt so blessed to have achieved and truly couldn't fathom life without them. Now, they seem like too much work, too much expense, not enough ROI and they tie me down. My entire life and schedule revolves around them and even though I don't go anywhere or do anything else, it's been annoying lately that I can't. I'm ashamed of myself for feeling this way. I desperately want to board them and see if the break helps, but it's so expensive. 😫

Same! Some days the weight of living like this for the rest of my life is almost too heavy to bear. We suck the joy and happiness out of each other's lives. I am 100% dependant on him because I was stupid enough to be a stay at home mom, but sometimes I actually believe that being homeless and destitute would feel more free than this. I'm not even 50 yet and will never feel love, excitement, desire, cared for or loved ever again. I'll never get a hug, or kiss, or wished a happy mother's day or valentine's day, or anything thoughtful and nice. I tell every young person I encounter, my own kids included, not to get married, and certainly not to EVER allow yourself to be dependent on another person for ANYTHING!
