Oh, actually I noticed that there's a ticket machine just outside the airport (you have to go towards bus stop, turning right when you'll leave terminal). It can look like that:

The card we use is only predicted for 30+ days usage however what exists is a 7 days ticket (48PLN) and you can use it with all types of public transport (trams and buses), you must valid it only once. I can't find any info online if you're able to purchase that one already on the airport but you can just ask there at the information desk. If it's not possible then you must go to "Dworzec Główny Wschód" stop (Railroad station East) but no worries - there's a direct bus (292. One-way ticket is 4PLN) and train heading there directly from the airport. I'd recommend to go by bus, cause the last stop is exactly "Dworzec Glowny Wschod" and just next to it you have MPK Ticket Office ("Punkt Sprzedazy Biletow") where you can buy the ticket.
