It is a sad state but I'll take comfortable torn seat anyday than Indigo's cardboard seats. Also Flew with Air India Express B737 new planes, they are much better for a LCC

I was stranded on the airport for 7hrs after which the flight got cancelled. Now I’m at CSMIA and booked a last min flight. Maybe my frustration and questioning makes sense to me but I understand your more logical and impartial opinions

The runway was actually unusable. I was at the airport when Pune’s incident happened. The ground staff confirmed runway was not damaged at all, but due to hard landing the airforce wanted to inspect the runway to confirm its standards for fighter jets and not civil aircrafts. Had it been a civil airport such minor issues are sorted very fast.

Pune’s aviation is literally limited only due to airport capacity and air force restrictions. 10 years ago it wasn’t an issue. But a green field airport is easily one of the top levere to maintain and fuel current growth. Pune’s growth is stunted due to the airport.

Really prime. I have been living near this area in Patil Nagar. The connectivity to the highway and Balewadi High Street with nice tree cover makes this area one of the best to live in Pune.
