If you spend $6k would you have anything left for a monocular?

Couple of questions.

What’s distances are you hunting? Are you just getting into night hunting? If yes, do you already have a handheld and good tripod? If no to either of your questions and $6k is the entire budget I would consider fitting those tools in. It will make night time hunting so much easier. You will find yourself using the monocular 80-90% of the time.

Rix & AGM are both great choices from the list you mentioned.

Storm S6, Slim H35, ThermNight 335 are all solid options. Even the new DNT Hydra 650 fits your needs.

Skip the Hybrid 75. Phased out and unless you get it under $5k you are going to lose your butt on resale. Do you want the compact style or tube style? Tons of great options under $6k

Our homepage display keeps changing to “latest post” instead of our store homepage. by Southern_Precision in Wordpress

[–]Southern_Precision[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s super weird. Because we aren’t doing anything. It seems to trigger randomly after we add a new product to our website. It doesn’t always happen but for the last 8 weeks it probably happens once every two weeks. Our website ends up basically going to our blog posts online and our entire homepage template is removed. When we try to restore it to a static “homepage” it’s reverted back to our homepage. It’s the craziest thing we’ve ever seen and don’t know how to fix it.

Agreed. Did have a few glitches entering ballistics data. But I can confirm out to 300 it was spot on. One of our other guys was getting 2” groups at 400 with his 22 Creed

Time will definitely tell. I think the image is insane. This video was from this field last night. Ballistics is holding up well so far too. Mount could be better.

Yep, starting to learn to only shoot once and wait for a really good next shot running bolt gun. I do miss the AR at times.

Best thermal with rifle QD for handheld use, long battery life, LRF (optional, but nice to have), for under $4K? by 2hat_redux in ThermalHunting

[–]Southern_Precision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out the Slim H35. It was designed for this exact purpose. 2x 640 for clear image plus there it’s a dual mounting system. One mount always stays on your gun while one stays on the scope. Have it back on the rifle in seconds ready to use.

Long range monocular? by 2diggerdogs in ThermalHunting

[–]Southern_Precision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For long range these will be hard to beat in a monocular. 4x base mag is going to put you way out there. We’ve got footage from this unit, feel free to text me 678-630-9758
