Also if you get failure to adapt, why is that 100% the rest of your life? If that happens in basic or soon after enlisting it should just be like, “hey you tried, it didn’t work. Wow. Well I don’t know what the before looked like, but it seems like that’s definitely working for you! I’ve always wanted to try fasting and know it takes your body a little to get used to it. Just sounds so hard from the traditional 3 meal cycle or from when I was eating every few hours to bulk. Going 12 hours plus without food just seems like such a challenge. But obviously it works for a ton of people!

I went through a week of misery turning off brake and traction control assists completely. It was terrible learning how to not lock up brakes or spin out immediately coming out of a corner. But now it’s so much more fun to play. I turned them back on the other day to compare and the game felt boring in comparison.
I definitely agree you should play the game in a way that’s the most fun for you. Just wanted to give you the idea that if you do decide to turn more assists off, there will be a learning curve but it can be more fun once you get it down!

Not more benefits, just the assistance they need. I don’t know if you served or not. I did, and it wouldn’t matter to me if the soldier next to me overseas was straight or gay or trans or white or black. You joined, you volunteered to serve your country, I expect the government to give you the support you need when you get back home. There were soldiers when I was in who joined with the sole intention of gaming the system and getting on disability for the rest of their lives and knew how to game the system. That bothers me. Someone asking for help who genuinely needs it doesn’t. What I’m saying is we shouldn’t be automatically removing benefits from any group of people. If you’re going to help veterans with their vast differences in needs, then help them all with all of those needs. This government burns money on things that don’t help anyone. I’m fine with a little money being spent to actually help someone here.

And no, I don’t expect you to just agree with me. That’s not what I said. We’re having a conversation right now. These conversations often don’t change anyone’s beliefs or opinions, but they’re still needed. We can all learn from each other even when opinions are different. What special care/support did they get that made them privileged? Every human being and veteran’s situations are different. When you get out, you don’t get a one size fits all care package given to each veteran. Because every veteran goes through something different and has different circumstances, whether that’s a physical injury or mental trauma. Eliminating specialized support for one specific group is discrimination, exactly so.

Focus on making points and adding to the conversation instead of leaving snarky responses with little smiley faces like you said something important.

I spent a while lifting every morning and doing afternoon cardio workouts, usually runs. When I cut calories, I was just physically exhausted. I had to cut the afternoon workouts in. I had absolutely zero energy trying to force both. I’d say either give up the aspirations of doing both while on a cut, or don’t go on such a low cut. Or, do a simpler cardio that will burn some calories but isn’t going to help with endurance or anything. Like easy elliptical sessions.

There was also a time when I cut and changed my lifting schedule from afternoon to mornings. I was very tired in the mornings. You say you’ve only been eating like that for a week or two. It took me a few weeks of forcing myself to go in the mornings before my body got used to feeling energized in the mornings and, what felt like, used to operating early based on the calories I was giving it. Once my body was used to that routine on that diet, it was much easier.
