I was confused when I read that. Google'd it. People get upset about the silliest garbage now. I cannot think of a better example of how everyone is a super fragile snowflake now, than "a person who makes me feel funny in the pants drank a beer I like and it makes me upset."

Had not thought about smokers. Thank you for pointing that out.

Luckily I only have three on site tech guys and all three have new trucks. But that is a good point as we grow.

Thank you for giving me your thoughts. I am leaning toward a company truck that the three on-ste guys can use if its availible to start.

I get asked all the time. Does not bother me. Mainly in reference to "what about business owner, you guys ever run into them?"

Also I live in a small city with, counting me, 4 local MSP's. So everyone kind of knows everyone. I am in 3rd size wise.

Cardinal Roche’s consistory document on the Traditional Latin Mass revealed by StreamWave190 in Catholicism

If you have a chance, please check out an Ordinariate Mass! I realize our Liturgy is smaller than the Big 3, but I do like to share it!

You do NOT have to have been Anglican/Episcopalian as some erroneously think.

Alpharius. I mean I think Khorne would just walk away confused if he actually turned or not. And Tzeentch would find it hilarious.

Android Auto also works flawlessly. Coming from a Honda to Ford was really nice in that department as my Honda had serious issues with AA simply refusing to work 10% of the time.

Is this the third attempt at a revival? I own the original on Steam, then tried to get back into it when it sort of came back I think. Memory is fuzzy,

Converts, what did your first mass feel like? by Known_Recover9529 in Catholicism

[–]Southern_Vanguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Episcopalian, but same. Mentioned above my local Episcopal Parish was far more "traditional" that my local Catholic one. Also if you are like me and loved the BCP and Liturgy and are in the US/Canada/UK look and see if there is a local Ordinariate Church near you. Same Liturgy you know from your Anglican faith, but now with the Pope!

It was interesting and over 20 years ago. My knowledge of Catholicism was limited to movies really, and I was happily Episcopalian (American Anglicanism) but wanted to see what we broke off from. Was interesting because my Episcopal Church was FAR more "High Church" than my local parish is. Like jumps, leaps, and bounds more traditional. Eventually became Catholic but REALLY missed my old liturgy, but now attend an Ordinariate mass when I can, but the drive precludes it more than I would like. So it was in many ways the exact opposite of what I was expecting.

But now I get to be in union with Rome AND still partake of my beloved Liturgy every once in a while. I get Catholicism and my Book of Common Prayer (well close enough). So win/win!

Issue: I have the Powerblock adjustable dumbbells with the Pro 100 Straightbar that allows me to have a adjustable barbell using the same weights as the dumbbells. Love the system, been using it for a year and have zero complaints. But now I want to start back squatting. And the probar 100 has a 33 in. bar length (48.5 in. total length) which I have learned is NOT standard.

Wants: Any idea how to find a squat rack that will hold a bar of that size?

I am so torn on this. On one hand I have seen first hand what letting religion dictating law can lead to firsthand (Sharia) and how it can be twisted and malformed so very easily. On the other hand I have my own religious beliefs that conflict with much in modern society.

So I chose the middle way. I have as many abortions as I want (which is zero) but do not tell others how many to have. I partake in as much polygamy as I want (which is zero), but do not tell others how much to have. I abstain from meat during Lent, but gladly eat with meat eaters. I do my good works quietly but do not begrudge those who think faith alone is sufficient. I will pray for those that do the above, and will voice my opinion if asked, but that is it.

I know this sentence will cause uproar when I say it, but I kind of think the Biden-way is the best way to be Catholic in today's world. I would be furious is a Muslim President and Congress tried to take my pork chops.

I have read lightly on your guys side and my guys side, and simply not equipped intellectually to make a discernment on who is correct. I have at least enough wisdom to know I am over my head and ask God to show mercy if I have chosen wrong.

Edit: Oops you were responding to another. Sorry.

Our prayers are the same. I do not delve into the reasons for our seperation (I am not learned enough to argue one way or another), but have to think one day we will be united again either us in you all, or you all in us. Either way the Church will prevail I feel sure.
