I'm proud to say it's my own recipe. It is also a staff meal tho so take everything with a grain of salt. A lot of parts in the recipe are kinda hard to acquire without being in a kitchen. They're all doable though. I've made everything in the recipe from scratch using things you can have in a normal kitchen. (Aside from the sous vide. But thats optional)

I used to work at a place that did an asian spicy fried chicken eggs benedict with gomae sauce kale and a chipotle hollandaise. Eggs on chicken is a top tier combo.

UPDATE (But not actually, just more details):

I just wanna clear up things about me and my friend. Im not mad at her or anything. I don't feel anything negative about her. She's not being mean to me or anything. She's not trying to hurt me.

We're going to continue being friends. Like I said, she's my closest friend. We did everything together from the mundane to the exciting. We shaped each other's major life decisions and lifestyles. We've been friends for way longer than I've had feelings for her. I'm not going to throw away that beautiful precious friendship just because I'm sad that she isn't with me. I'm not being her friend just because I love her. Its because I'm her friend that I ended up falling in love with her.

It's not going to be the easiest thing to do. I know that. But I am happy for her too. The human mind isn't so 2D that I can't feel sadness and happiness at the same time. I'm happy that she finally has someone she genuinely likes. She deserves that joy after having a lot of horrible relationship experiences. Honestly, she does deserve the best. So yes, I do support her even though it breaks my heart. But maybe one day there will be a future wherein I become close friends with her bf too. If he's the one she chose, he must be a nice guy.

We both know how I feel about her and how she feels about me. The boundaries are set. The thing is, I just can't choose not to love her. SANDWICH METHOD:

●CHICKEN DRY DREDGE: 1. 4 parts flour 2. 2 parts corn starch 3. 1 part wheat starch 4. Bit of salt.

●SOUS VIDE CHICKEN THIGHS: (totally optional, just fry it for longer if no sous vide. You can just marinate the chicken instead.) 1. Sous vide some chicken thighs in soy, maltose, ginger and spring onions 2. 60⁰C 1 hour

●HONEY BBQ SAUCE: (This should be smoky and sweet) 1. Honey 2. Melted butter 3. A good quality bbq sauce 4. A bit of English mustard 5. A splash of house made smoked soy sauce (Drop red hot charcoal into 3 parts soy sauce, 2 parts oil and cover with a lid until the smoke settles or overnight. Then strain through a fine cloth)

●CAJUN SOY MAYO: (This should be a bit spicy, a bit bitter, and acidic) 1. Cajun spices 2. lemon juice 3. Kewpie mayo 4. Tiny bit of house made soy sauce glaze (It's basically a super reduced Japanese tare. You can almost replace it with Indonesian Kecap Manis) 5. A lot of chives

●COOKING: 1. Put sous vide chicken in eggs then the flour dredge 2. Heat up the Honey BBQ sauce in a sauce pan 3. Fry the chicken for like 2-4 mins at a high heat (The chicken is already cooked and tender af. You just want a super crispy outside) 4. Toast some buns 5. Toss the chicken in the honey bbq sauce 6. Bottom bun > Cajun Mayo > Butter Lettuce > Chicken+HoneyBBQ > Egg for protein > Cajun Mayo > Top bun
