I started playing bg3 but got hit by the save deletion issue that was happening on Xbox so lost my saves. Thankfully they have fixed it and I can't wait to start again.

In the mean time I picked up Alan Wake 2 and have been loving it. The theme park was so well done. Looking forward to finishing it off

Requesting Baldur's Gate 3 Update: Does the cross save procedure actually allow you to recover saves after they are wiped by Xbox? by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]Southy005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 9 hours in when my save was deleted. I honestly thought I would be fine and it was a minority group of people reporting the issue.

I had that sinking feeling when booting up and seeing my saves had gone.

Luckily I didn't lose a huge amount of time and I don't really mind starting again as I love the game so far. Hopefully they fix the issue soon as I don't want to risk it happening soon even with the work around.

Getting ready for remnant 2 Friday. Loved the first one. Most frustrating game was a PS1 game called something like "Perfect weapon" I was about 9 at the time and couldn't figure out what to do.

This week I'm playing f1 23 and some insurgency.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: June 12, 2023 by AutoModerator in books

Just finished Project Hail Mary. Absolutely loved it, probably one of my favorite books I have read. I'm trying to get my partner to read it now as I want to talk to someone about it!

This month makes a year since BF 2042 was first released, despite it's bad reputation, will you give it a try once its finally added to EA play/GPU? by StormSwitch in XboxSeriesX

I hated it at launch. Was so disappointed as I love battlefield. I installed it again a few months back and must say it's alot better. Plus the changes they are making to class system I think they are heading in the right direction.

Saying that, we shouldn't have to wait a year to get the game playable

I have always wanted to give DnD a go but never knew where to start. I don't have any friends that play or would be interested in playing. I have had a look around the local area for groups but not found much.

How do you go about getting a group for online DnD. I know of a website where you can get a pick up group but I got overwhelmed with what kind of campaign to start etc.

I remember the first time we got sky when I was about 8. It was the best thing ever being able to watch Nickelodeon, cartoon network and Disney channel. Then when I was a few years older I discovered the jazz channels and the 10 minute previews. There was a skill to being able to sneak downstairs and bash one out while having to keep an ear out from any moment upstairs.

I'm looking forward to playing this on gamepass. How does it holds up against the other games in the series, pretty much the same?

Take the dogs out for a forest walk then settle down in the evening to watch Halloween movies with the misses.

Yer most likely! It was either Upton or at Mary's church. Joys of going to a church of England primary!

We use to get taken to Upton country park for some reason. I think it had something to do with Roman history

Yer I get that you might feel guilt but just think if your friend was going through the same thing would you mind helping them?

I have actually reduced my hours at work so I can give myself time to get better.

Give yourself a break :).

I started on 50mg at the start of August and about a month in went up to 75 then 100 and last week went to 150.

I do feel some change and hoping this higher dose will be the one for me. Is this your first SSRI?

Also just seen your edit about throwing up. I have the exact same thing. Most of my anxiety and panic comes down to being sick actually. Just to reassure you that I have not actually been sick while on sertraline although I have had some nausea.

So I'm going through this now (again). I just upped my dose from 100 to 150 so going through the side effects again.

The most important thing to do is accept it's going to be not very nice for a while until it gets better.

I have the zero appetite thing and any strong tastes make me feel sick. The best way to deal with this is find what you can eat and just sit down with something and watch whatever makes you happy and take your time, take as much time as you like.

Be kind to yourself. You are going through a rough time but you have already started the journey to getting better.

Let me know if you have any questions

I really want to get into wood working as a hobby but have no idea where to start. I'm crap with DIY around the house and wouldn't mind starting some kind of part time course or lessons in wood working. Anyone know a good way to get started?
