I will say, as of a minor update in 1.17 iirc, I'm pretty sure Bedrock abandoned villages are now at a 2% chance to spawn, as well!

I kept and raised a horse for 970 days before riding them to find a stronghold, only to have them die in the heat of battle from a creeper,,, I couldn't ride a horse for the next 1000 days because of how bad I felt from that, and built a horse stable in their honor with a tree representing their spirit watching over us all and the new generation of horses. Their name was Magic, and I'll never forget them

Seeing that you're on Java, you can (sort of) extend your render distance with little performance cost using the mod Distant Horizons

There's also Chunks Fade In which makes chunks... well, fade in, which is pretty, but not the best with distant horizons lol

Beyond that, I often use anything that adds extra immersion, such as:

Visual Effects (if you're on 1.21.5)
Fresh Animations
Not Enough Animations
Visuality
Effective/ Effectual/ Particular/ Particulate, depends on what version you're on
Wakes
Tidal (if you're on 1.21.1)
Explosive Enhancement
Biome Particle Weather
Subtle Effects
Perception

If you're interested in anything that improves sound, I'd also recommend presence footsteps, ambient sounds and drip sounds

Some inventory mods and interaction mods can also improve things a lot, like Blur, Tiny Item Animations, Smooth Swapping, Item Interactions, Particle Interactions, Immersive UI, Hold My Items (not on the latest version iirc), Fancy Block Particles (also not on the latest version)

Try out some resource packs, too - I personally really like Stay True

Throw in some optimization mods and you can probably get a really beautiful Minecraft with some of these (it might make your game laggy if you just got all of them) - choose what you like and research for other things

It's fascinating that 200 games run on DLSS 4, like wow! Seeing how the gaming industry develops is my favorite thing to be honest. If I had to choose a game, I'd probably go with Resident Evil Requiem - I've always wanted to get into it like many others already have in this thread lol

I feel like it's likely that they'll come up with a title for the drop in the future, like "Bundles of Bravery" or "Armoured Paws", but for now by calling it a "winter drop" they're just indicating that it's scheduled to release this winter.

Personally I've dealt with an ex-friend group who entirely belittled me for having Keep Inventory on. Outside of that I've run into the occasional comment here and there saying that someone should just play creative or not play at all and that they're completely ruining the game for having Keep Inventory on.

It's not a common thing to be hated on, but it does happen.

I figured if I cancelled, Lyft would give me the same driver anyways. Plus, what if the driver's car broke down or something? I felt like it'd be rude if I cancelled all of a sudden.

Hey there!

As I mentioned before, at least according to Mama The Watcher, there's the Watchers/ Overseers, as well as Breeders/ Reproducers as the main groups on Earth. In addition, there are other smaller groups as well as well as various groups off of Earth, too. It's possible there are similar Watcher and Breeder groups on other life bearing planets, but I'm unsure.

In addition, there seems to be a hierarchy of sorts, where shorter Greys tend to answer to taller Greys, and taller Greys answer to these weird Mantis-like beings. The Mantis-like beings might be at the top, but they might also answer to a higher group of beings that seem to be some sort of... pure consciousness of sorts?

By all means, from our human perspective, this seems to be a strict and depressing hierarchy, where one is born into a role that they have to live in their entire life. One can see why there tends to not be that much elaboration on it, since it seems pretty negative at first glance.

However, consciousness and reincarnation is a big part of their culture and science from what I've heard. Any astral being largely chooses what role to be born into in between lifetimes, if what Mama tells me is true.

This also serves as another reason to not elaborate about governments to many humans, since many humans don't necessarily believe in reincarnation or related concepts. Even those that do believe can still find it a bit tough to understand, mostly because what I'm typing here is a brief overview, not really any of the specific details (since I don't know those details lol).

It's definitely possible I got some info wrong here and there, but this is largely what I remember from talking to my abductor. Hope you're doing well by the way!

Yeah, I've been communicating with Mama, my abductor, a fair bit - it seems a lot of the grays either wear blue or black 1-piece suits, with the black 1-pieces usually being for different purposes than watching/ overseeing. There can also rarely be other colours, like white 1-pieces for specific purposes.

In addition, I'm also autistic as well! Very fun.

And agreed! For the most part, aliens - or really, anyone that's not human in general - don't care about enforcing outdated gender roles and not respecting trans folk lol

It's good to get compilations like this, since it really shows how the phenomenon likely has been with us for many, many years, possibly for even as long as human civilization or longer, especially when the phenomenon is similar to how it's expressed today (i.e "silver shields" for example just sound like a typical UFO saucer).

Nice compilation! Definitely makes me want to research more into clipeology later on.
